Our form isn't great, but that's a big point gained.

TOP OF THE LEAGUE.
Now COME ON Ipswich Blackburn, Hull and Stoke.
Btw just saw that Boro goal. Keeper fell the wrong way.
Not good.

We really miss Saiz, love the effort from Roofe but no creativity he's not that player. Thought Bamford got in his way twice too

Well this might well be a weekend to remember. Villa coming back against SU from 3-0 down and now Leeds get an equaliser in the 101st minute. Still think play offs .

The problem is generally the same as it has been for a while and that is that we don't score enough goals from our chances. MB must have been tearing his hair out at some of the chances missed today. Think it is still just 2 matches that we haven't scored in however the recent bad run has coincided with us also conceding more and if you concede and don't take enough of your chances then you start to struggle.
However combined with Sheff Utd's collapse v Villa it is a crucial point as it has at least meant the gap has stayed the same and there is 1 fixture less to play. Gotta hope Norwich and WBA don't get maximum points too. As it stands though us and 2 of the other top 5 sides have all got 1 point.

Must admit I feel Bamford would be better in the 10 role and leave Roofe in the 9 role. Roofe is more instinctive so suits the 9 role whereas Bamford looks like he prefers to carve out pockets of space for himself and have that second to get the ball under control and utilise the space.

Re: Middlesbrough v Leeds Utd Match Thread
We're shooting ourselves in the foot atm with the selection of Ayling and Harrison. Ayling loses possession too easily and that has cost us while Harrison isn't a team player, it's all head down head for goal till I'm tackled stuff. First half still way too much room in front of the back 4 and that's down to the DMF..Second half better but they sat on their lead and don't have lot of offensive inclination once in front.

Really? ...can't imagine it was injury? Unless he fell over while getting off the bench. Maybe came off because of feeling unwellbecchio bear wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 3:11 pm Saying it's Jack Clarke that was stretchered off!! Hope to god it is nothing serious. Not good though![]()

I feel like we just won that game. What a great way to end it. Pulis must have thought he had us. I also think that last night's game between Villa v Blunts was a mega result for us

I wonder if the Phillips v Forshaw pendulum has swung a bit more in favour of Phillips .
