Leeds should be refreshed, having had eight days to recover since putting West Brom to the sword.
Alioski, who remains the only player to participate in every game this season looks likely to keep Douglas benched as the Macedonian International grows from strength to strength.
Jack Clarke finally returned to training on Monday. It remains to be seen whether he'll make the bench.
Izzy Brown not only scored yet again for the U23's on Monday at Vicarage Road, but more importantly completed 87 mins. Surely Bielsa has to make use of the Chelsea youngster!
The Robins currently occupy the last play off place, which they now share with Derby who beat Wigan midweek. Their need for a win is as desperate as Leeds![/size]
I live 45 mins from Bristol and a mate who’s a City fan has a spare ticket.
Unfortunately I’m working Saturday so can’t go. Would have been hard not cheering Leeds on as they beat Bristol so I’ll be logged on to this site for the excellent commentary and hiding from my supervisor as I check how we’re doing.
After the WBA game and the finish line almost in sight, the lads must surely have the belief and motivation to get out there and make a meal of Bristol. Let's have another performance like last week!
Bristol have lost their last 3 (inc. Wolves in the cup) so with Leeds in town they'll definitely be up for it . I just hope Leeds don't do another 'QPR'.

Bristol City are a better footballing side than QPR, Rangers weren't that great we made them look good if truth be known
Could be a tricky match as Bristol are unlikely to be as open as WBA were and they would probably see a point as a good result and may see their best chance of getting 3 points as simply by frustrating us rather than making it an open game. Hopefully though now we have Bamford, Hernandez and Roberts brimming with confidence and we can do a better job of converting chances than in many of our matches. Too tight to call the winner but reckon it will be a 2-1 scoreline, hopefully for us.

Bristol City have completed the signing of New Zealand goalkeeper Stefan Marinovic in time for Saturday’s clash with Leeds United. Marinovic, a free agent, has joined City until the end of the season after injuries left manager Lee Johnson short of options for this weekend’s game at Ashton Gate. City have a major doubt over first choice Niki Maenpaa, who was due to undergo scans on a calf strain today, having already lost Frank Fielding to a fractured hand. Johnson has youngster Max O’Leary available and recalled Jojo Wollacott from a loan at Gloucester City earlier in the week but Marinovic’s arrival was announced this afternoon on the back of a successful trial, Marinvoic, 27, spent much of his career in Germany and was most recently on the books of MLS team Vancouver Whitecaps. He has been without a club since November and his free-agent status has allowed City to add him to their squad outside the transfer window

I know my premise is hugely flawed but I made these calculations last Saturday morning when I was still on that massive high from the night before.

My thoughts exactly BG. Do you remember when Alex Ferguson dropped his goalie (name just escapes me....Alex?) after the Wembley Cup Final v Palace? He brought in Loanee Les Sealey from West Ham (I think) for the replay who had an absolute blinder for Scum to win the cup. Hope this one is a bit rusty!

It was Scottish I international Keeper Jim Leighton who was dropped.
Interestingly Sealey had been signed after the transfer window had closed as well.
On such margins history is made as arguably Fergie would have faced the sack if ManU hadn't picked up the FA cup that year.
Maybe last nights awful penalty decision will follow along similar lines...

Bristol will be playing the game that will suit us to a tee.
They will be playing for the win and won't be setting out so defensively, remember they have Derby hot on there heels as well as a few others for 6th position so a win at home is a must for them, they will number up and press from the midfield something they did so well in there run of wins.
I will gladly take a draw from this game but a win will just signify that what we did vs West Brom was no fluke..... Can't wait to watch this game.
No doubts we have the toughest game of the top 4 this weekend and for that reason alone, I would take a draw. Lets hope Swansea surprise us tonight by getting something at Carrow Road - cant see it tbh but you never know.
Wont be easy, Bristol City gave us problems at Elland Road till the sending off and they have improved since then.
2nd best defence in the league, playing at home, a playoff place to play for, wont need any motivation.
We will need to perform and perform well.
But having said that, they've picked up more points away, 18th for home form, and according to their own fans they are streaky under Lee Johnson, always have been, win a few then lose a few, thats how they role.
They haven't won for a few games so hopefully they are in the middle of one of those bad streaks and we can take advantage on the back of our best (and the leagues best imo) performance of the season.
