Do we think Harrison will get dropped at some point or is he inked in for the rest of the season

This was getting really frustrating by the time we scored. You only have to beat a man once and put a ball in... he wants to do it 2 or 3 times.

The team generally has balance though, and I do think that Douglas's injuries haven't helped the left side. Maybe Berardi is the better option there now with Ali further up (though I always thought he was better on the right when playing winger).

This team definitely has bottle - wins or losses don't seem to have much impact on the next performance at all. Nice to see Bamford get a couple more. You can almost see the lift in confidence as soon as the first goes in.

Nice comments from Alex Neil, a manager I rate highly. To get a club like Preston pushing for a play off place is no mean feat.
I think last night's result has killed off their chances though.

That's the best option imo!

The quicker Harrison is outed the better, he should have shone with all that space he was in last night, sadly he was the only disappointment in what was a excellent team performance, JH offers us precious little & had far too many chances. Our most subbed player I would think this season

Totaling agree with SaraM. You all were better than when I had radio via LUTV.

I dumped LUTV a couple of years ago because I found that MOT had much better commentators

79pts - 5 games to go ....I'm going to be gutted if we get to 90 and still fail.

89-90 looks our ceiling at moment, that would afford us one loss and a draw plus the 3 wins for the 89.

It wasn't so long ago that it looked like 85 may have been enough to get up but because SU and NC have kicked on its more likely that 90 or more will be necessary. It's certainly possible with 3 home wins and a win at Ipswich leaving us on 91 meaning SU need 14 from 18 to go up assuming our GD is inferior to SU. Our 3 home matches must be wins to give us any chance imo.

We have to win all 5, that would give us 94 which seems unrealistic to not go up with that. No reason why we can't. Players haven't played as well as they can recently, so one would hope they left something in the tank.

I was rather hoping that Norwich playing Stoke and villa away in the last 6 might help but they have too many points buffer now

To not go up with 94 would be insane however I do believe that you aren't far off the mark SG. Leeds have the hardest run-in but given that 2 games are against playoff contenders and 2 against relegation battlers (Ipswich are gone) those games could be perfect for Leeds with more space to play in. Got to hope Bham do the business tonight as a starter tho.

I looked Sheff Utd's remaining fixtures and I think that only tonight or possibly Hull away are the only games they could drop points in.
Let's hope nerves play a part and they slip up.
All we can do is win our games and keep the pressure on them.
90 points was good enough to get Cardiff promoted last season so it would be heart breaking if we got 94 and missed out

I reckon Hull would roll over and let them win comfortably just to prevent us going up. They seem like the kind of club who'd do that.

Still think our sticky moment will be at Griffin Park, getting anything there will be a bonus.

All three teams deserve to go up automatically if they achieve 90 points plus. It's a nonsense that the team 4th in the championship could be ten points behind the 3rd with the 6th team possibly being 20 points adrift of the top three

I'd make two changes Brown for Harrison and Roofe for Roberts. Roberts is good at running at teams with pace, but lacks the intelligence and decision making when in the final third, which is understandable being young. However both Harrison and Roberts have been massively bailed out by Pablo as they don't score or create enough.

Harrison would be a decent impact sub.

That's the thing. We could fail to go up with 94 points and then miss out on the playoffs to a team with 20 points fewer.

Annoying thing is Sky moving our games so we're playing catch up for 3/5, with Wendies, Brentford and Villa all later kick offs which will massively put the pressure on if we need a win.
