This game was our big chance before 2 really tough ones.

Stopped watching 2 or 3 minutes before the end.

Can't remember being so fed up with a performance.
I stopped watching after their second goal for about 20 mins. I'd just posted that Wigan were on top when they scored. Came back to see if we had anything to offer apart from inept crossing....wish I'd stayed outside. Feeling flat :(

Hard to believe the players were so calm and cool last week. No I know why I'm an atheist, there is no God. Hard to fathom we haven't been jinxed by the press tbh.

If we cant hold our nerve against 10 man Wigan then we have no chance away to Brentford and at home to Villa.

And yes as you say we play after Blades.

Today was a potentially devastating blow.

Feels like being kicked in the nuts.

I have a friend who likes to bet on football. He has bet on Leeds to win twice this season. Our 4-2 loss to Forest and today.

I wish I could blame him, but the truth is our play was poor after we took the lead and became terrible after their equaliser.

Yep. This is why we'll never be allowed to be promoted. Hopefully they can jinx Villa for the playoffs.

You're welcome Swanny and sorry for my bad language. I promise it won't happen again this season as I've just resigned myself to being in the same league next year. Image

Casilla - 7 - Not at fault for the goals
Ayling - 8 - Had a very good game for the most part.
Alioski - 0 - Shocking, can't defend and his distribution today was Sunday league park football.
Jansson - 4 - Beaten in the air for the second
Beradi - 6 - Combative

Phillips - 5 - Lack of pace and got taken to the cleaners today. He's not good with anyone with pace running at him
Hernandez - 6 - Tried too hard, can kind of forgive him a bad game just poor timing
Klich - 7 - Not at his best but did nothing wrong keeping the distribution simple.
Roberts - 7 - Was actually looking like one of our best players when he came off.
Harrison - 3 - Very poor but still better than Alio

Bamford - 5 - Good goal but a string of poor passes, two/three golden opportunities missed plus was seldom in the box for the few good crosses we put in

Forshaw - 6 - I'd like to see him start tbh.
Roofe - 7 - Most of his passes found their target, always moving, he seemed to be playing the #10 role and having to come deep
Clarke - 6 - Lacking confidence but better than recent weeks, still not beating players at will as he was, it all looks an effort to beat players and it's taking too long

Today it ended, wish I was wrong but it ain't gonna happen. The script always has a predictable ending. We've just given the blunts all the belief in the world now.

We've been given promotion on a plate many times in the last few weeks it's just that they're not clever enough to accept it.

Off to bed with a sinking feeling.
That's it mate, we forget this is barely a midtable championship squad at best. Some might question some of Bielsa's sub decisions but that clear downing of tools in the first half was not his fault. He'll accept responsibility for it of course, it's who he is but everyone knows those players owed him more than what they gave him this aft. All this team can do now is win and pray.

None of them deserve more then a 5 except maybe Casilla, Ayling and Paddy.

Jansson and Berardi were poor as was Ali.

Phillips and Forshaw were useless.

Hernandez tried but was wasteful.

Roberts and Harrison were poor.

Bamford scored and was a threat tbf.

Clarke tried to make thinfs happen but couldn't.

Roofe missed a sitter and it be surprised if his pass completion was more then 70%.

Boro back in the playoffs. We just know our season would be ended by Pulis' dinosaur football.

Can't see any points at Brentford or against Villa unfortunately as I think this defeat will be a crushing blow to the players who won't recover. At best it will be Wembley but serious doubts now . Yes it can turn around again but Brentford will want to put another nail in our coffin for sure. Not sure what happened today but they looked bang average again against a very ordinary team. Again they have some big players and Leeds just cannot compete against any physical opponents and we don't possess anyone who genuinely freightens the oppositions with physicality or real pace. Relying on the skill of Pablo to get over the line every game just will not do. If MB stays he's got some serious wheelin' & dealing to do in the summer .

Not necessarily poor throughout but we were bullied at the back suppressing. Hopeful Brentford have given up becacause we need assistance. Alioski poor again today., apparently he is worth a place. As someone who has been on the pitch with Lineker and others as a schoolboy he is poor

Hi everyone,

I had to work this afternoon and no chance to watch the match, but I'm pleased I didn't.

WTF has gone wrong today?

We put in two great and assured performances against PNE and SW, and then don't turn up aaginst 10 men?

That's unacceptable and this match is gonna cost us promotion.

We can hope the blunts drop points, but I doubt it now and seriously wouldn't fancy us in the play-offs.

I didn't watch the match, but sounds like an awful performance at a very bad time of the season.

On the plus side, we've probably just got the disappointment out the way early.

Luton, Barnsley, etc to look forward to next season - thansk LUFC.

I said a while ago it was about who held their nerve and I believed blunts bottled it last week, but our heroes have surpassed them today.

I'm not hopeful at all now :verysad:

We'll beat Brentford and Ipswich and then it's down to the Game against Villa. I do think we'll start the playoffs as the under dogs and it'll be a massive achievement to succeed from there. Villa are the best team in the top 6

Not as bad as some are making out. We gave up two soft goals on a couple of errors and then a couple of players just wasting good position after good position.

No way Wigan should have gotten back in after we went ahead, but I think we got carried away and tried to get some of those goals back so chased the game and that was a mistake. I said I'd take a one nil win yesterday and got shot down. Win first, don't care how or by how many at this point..Our defence way to far up the pitch for their equalizer.
