Robbie Gotts in the 10 role would have been nice to see once or twice, we clearly don't have a number 10 in the 14 man squad so why not look at him. Should have seen more of Leif Davis with no other left back in the 14, if not Leif then Oduor. Shack and Stevens should have been coming off the bench for weeks if we're chasing the game

Still not convinced Brown is match fit though, torn ACL/MCL often mean a two year recovery, being able to cut being the main problem

So so predictable. Virtually every last ounce of talent has been squeezed out of this set of basically mid table players so its no surprise that when it comes to the crunch games....they just haven't got enough to win. Bielsa has done amazing BUT who can really understand his unwillingness to change the line up when required.....I am not a top class coach but Harrison is just not good enough, yet he is on the team sheet come what may.......baffling and very irritating and certainly not a tactic for any team alluding to get promotion.

Even though I predicted a Leeds win on the Predictions Forum as I always do I didn't really fancy us for all the reasons I've mentioned about Brentford in my previous posts. Not too disheartened tbh as I expected nothing

Anyway 4 matches to go, we won't even reach the play-off final let alone win it

I think this season end is down to poor Bielsa management, Have we made a promise to MC to play Harrison for a certain percentage of games ...could that be it. He's free if we play him will cost us if we don't ?

This is where we need to stand up and be the 12th man, rather than letting our season filter out. It's hard though when it's so predictable who will play and come on.

I think every drip has been squeezed out of what was lets not forget largely a side bottom 3 for the entire 2018 calendar year before Bielsa.

The squad hasnt got the talent or yes the bottle to last the pace and shouting and cheering wont help imo.

They will play without fear and more importantly, they will be unpredictable for the opposition. When Clarke first broke into the team, he was fearless and defences didn't know how to stop him, which added another dimension.

I really don't know. I haven't watched the U23s, but I share Cjay's concern that it would be a big leap expecting untried players to handle the pressure at this stage.

I don't agree with CJay at all, I think we have plenty of talent but MB has forced players into wrong positions for a long time now and teams have worked out that's what makes us weak. None of the kids have let us down when they played before, Davis looked good in his first team appearances, Halme was outstanding in his. Shack has looked a world beater in his brief time. (I think Clarke may not mentally be able to deal with the pressure. fair chance he falls down the divisions despite the obvious talent and one thing you need as a pro footballer is pig headed belief in yourself.)

How is this Bielsa's fault?

Most of these players were here last season where we totally collapsed second half same as this season and quite a few were here the season before when the same thing happened.

Can't blame Bielsa for players missing chance after chance.

Roberts twice through on goal today, Roofe free header vs Wigan etc, no manager can legislate for that.

You're very positive mate but the only reason the bookies or anyone had us as a playoff potential side this season was Bielsa.

The squad is not good enough, Brentford man for man are probably better then us as are quite a few teams in this league.

The kids may not have let us done before but its different now, the pressure is immense, maybe they would play with no fear but its more likely especially for example at a packed Elland Road vs Villa young kids would wilt under the pressure imo.

Our defence opened up like the Red Sea & Maupey (a proper striker) wallops the ball into the back of our net. Bamford & Roberts had two similar opportunities & fluffed them, story of our season.

Our fans

Our 1,600 support at Brentford were magnificent last night where the 'Hernandez/Casilla' song must have been sung for a good thirty minutes prior & at the start of the game, then at the end when we all realised our fete the players walked off looking totally dejected to a volume of sound with 'Oh Leeds United we're so delighted we chose you as our football team'. Totally proud of our fans last night, such a shame our players can't replicate our fans dedication.
