I watched it 64 and have watched quite a few of the games. Great result and as others have said, no shirt pulling, feigning injury or screaming abuse at the ref. And no hostility in the crowd.

The Americans are very fit & athletic causing England a lot of problems at the back, poor defending has cost us on both goals

Great equaliser from Ellen White, she is more clinical than Bamford & Roofe

England need to score next if they are to remain in the competition, a 3rd goal for the USA would be curtains I feel.

Was round a mates house and they had it on, so kinda forced into watching my first, mostly, full ladies game, missed the last 5 or so minutes as we came home.

The penalty awarded was extremely soft, but the PK was also, so no harm done

On balance, I would say the score was not a reflection of the game. England were at least as good as the USA and took the game to them for large parts of the second half. The disallowed goal was offside, indeed, but only by the tiniest bit.

A shame this was only the semi-final.

Bronze and White are real quality. Tobin Heath for the USA has an incredible work rate, and her cross for the first goal was sheer perfection.

Great game, very competitive. Had it gone the other way there would have been no complaints from this end.

I thought the best team won John, the fitness levels and pass accuracy the difference, USA always looked like they could find another gear, but have to compliment England on there never say die attitude, 1 goal difference about the right result.

Yeah I agree with this.
You couldn't fault England's work rate but as I said a couple of weeks ago, the USA are a cut above the rest at the moment. They deserved to win it.
I can't see Sweden or the Netherlands giving them as hard a game as we gave them.
However, the gap is definitely closing and I think four years from now we could be capable of winning it.
Last night's game was worthy of being the final in my opinion.
