Famous Prats
I've never met the man, but I get the feeling that Bono is a real prat.
Any one else have this feeling about a famous person or have you even met someone famous, and they were a prat?

Never a prat - never infamous either - knowledgeable, succinct, maybe common sense personified.faaip wrote:

Oh so so many. Bono (already mentioned), Bob Geldof, Chris Martin (Coldplay version), George Clarke, Nick Knowles, anyone who 'stars' in a reality tv show (Made in Chelsea, Kardashians etc) Kanye West. The list goes on

Re: Famous Prats
I remember they did a poll on who was the scariest Doctor Who character.
I think Bonnie came second behind the Daleks.

Re: Famous Prats
Queue jumper when I was working for HMV Manchester
Showing courtesy to M/s Langford I asked her politely as one did in retail decades ago
"Please would you mind joining the queue madam"
Her reply
"Do you know who I am"
Couldn't stand her as a child actress when she use to bellow out "I'll scream, I'll scream, I'll scream"
Her action & reaction just about finished me off. Bonnie is probably a nice middle-aged lady these days

South Park said it best about Bono when they had him on stage accepting some humanitarian award when his phone goes off and he says, "Excuse me, I must be getting another award."

Re: Famous Prats
This thread reminded me of that famous NME interview with Freddie Mercury in 1977 entitled “ Is this man a prat ? “ .
