In fact probably lost a 1/2 an inch over the years ...Not as bad as my mum though who was 5'3 and is now shorter than my partner who's 4'11

Interesting article.
https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/ ... ssion=true
So because Radz didn't put any equity in last season, our allowed loses dropped from £39m to £31m. So if we were to fail ffp, it would be because he didn't put any money in rather than wages or fees.

The wage bill expanding is his fault, that summer he arrived we signed 20 odd players and handed out new contracts.
Not surprised he hasnt put any money in since 2018 (that wasnt even his money anyway, 49ers cash).
And pretty sure the losses 39 to 31mil is all wrong, sure thats FFP rules that went out 3 years ago, PnS is different.
Actually easier for owners to invest now (as voted in by the EFL clubs).
He does deserve credit for the commercial side though.
(Edit) may be wrong on the £39mil bit but know for a fact its easier for owners to invest but it has to be there own money, no bank loans and what not in the clubs name.

The £15m makes sense now, otherwise it would normally be £7m which would make more sense. There's nothing wrong with making the club sustainable without him, but if he is refusing to put in equity, it will affect us and put us in breach of ffp. If he doesn't this year either, our allowed losses drop to £23m, which means if we post more than £4m loss, we will fail ffp. So don't be surprised to see players sold in January, even if we're doing well. Sorry but why put our hands behind our backs when others will be losing fortunes every year?Cjay wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 3:00 pm Radz has done well on the business front tbf to him.

Think it comes down to the owner, the EFL dont just slap down points deductions.SG90 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 3:11 pm The £15m makes sense now, otherwise it would normally be £7m which would make more sense. Their is a period of negotiation isnt there? The owner has to cover the losses over the limit and provide proof of funds to show the club wont do a Bolton or Bury in the next few years.
Radz is reaching the end for me, i think its pretty clear he is struggling financially and i see as his last chance.
He has made the club very healthy in some ways and deserves credit for that but he has hindered in others.
Sad fact is i think i read 85% of EFL club money comes from its owner.
If you want to make money dont buy an EFL club.

The problem is a lot of foreign owners see the tv money in the PL and think it's the same for all leagues. Perhaps do research before committing to buying a non PL club.Cjay wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 3:18 pm Think it comes down to the owner, the EFL dont just slap down points deductions.

I think it's great that we're one of a few clubs that would survive if the owner left tomorrow, but that said, leaving us with a £16m shortfall compared to the rest of the league is completely unfair. If you don't want to put in equity, then perhaps stop selling our best players on the cheap and get better fees for them.

Interesting article in the YEP. So do we have any money to invest now? I couldn't tell...
So with the loan of the keeper comes that end the possibility of bringing in the Arsenal kid?
Ironic that this time last week we were calling for more strength in the defence and up front and all we have done is sold our top scoring striker without a plan of a replacement.
Has Ortas phone ran out of credit?

We have Nolan on a 3 year deal - all agreed with Inter.
Orta and Inter are still haggling over the fee for Collidio though. Leeds have offered 5m, Inter want more.

I'm told Nolan is, but he is the runner up prize. Colidio is the masterpiece, hense Inter want more than the 5m Leeds are offering.

Marcelo Bielsa wants Leeds United to spend 'every penny' of the £7 million that Kemar Roofe brought in on signing Liverpool's Ryan Kent, according to The Daily Record.

Other reports are maintaining that the Nketiah loan deal will happen.
Only thing is, Phil Hay has said will be get one, or the other - not both.
I can't think of a time that he was wrong!

David Ornstein reporting Eddie Nketiah will probably join us on loan.
Not sure about this, effectively we have sold Jansson and replaced with a loan and no option to buy and if Nketiah comes off we will have sold Roofe with no option to buy.
Bielsa wanted Ryan Kent, not Nketiah, so this is the club going against his wishes again.
Doesnt sit well with me, if Bielsa wanted Kent it should be Kent and Nketiah or just Kent.
Nketiah may be great like Abraham but he is more likely to be another Nmecha or Harrison from last season.
Its a punt on a player MB didnt want originally in favour of a player he did.

Just back from a splendid bowls victory 26-6 with our other rink winning giving us the full quota of six points in our quest to achieve promotion for the 4th consecutive year (WE KNOW WHAT IS REQUIRED
) another big match on Friday evening in a cup-semi-final, fingers cross we can make it to the FINAL
Anyway I thought there might be some exciting LUFC news when arrived home

And of course he's told them that personally. Ffs all these shite clickbait sites are going to try and cause friction that isn't there if we don't spend the Roofe money.Ellandback1 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 4:37 pm Its all going off now!!!

If we're signing Colidio, then we won't be signing Kent as well. Tbh I doubt we'll sign either. Probably just end up with Meslier and Nolan.

I can feel all the excuses piling up already
Please don't let us down again LUFC, think about the fans who have put their hard earned money into the club, plus all the millions £'s in the coffers from the players flogged of late.
Don't mess this opportunity up Leeds !
