Not sure if Beradi and Struijk have played much as a pair, if they start, irrespective of ability, they'd be a weakness. CB are all about familiarity with their partner. Stick a goalkeeper behind that no one has played with would increase the fun.

I just don't want the fourth division club to be too aggressive with their tackling. Of course I want us to win....but not at all costs. I would like to see some of our main players rested and some of the younger lads given a chance.

To be honest 63, I used to love the cup competitions, especially the fa cup. But the year Scum didn't play and went off on a money making trip, and the way that managers have treated the cups over the past few years, these comps have kinda lost the sparkle for me now

Agreed whiteswan. Of course we want to win every game. But if i had a choice between winning the game tonight, or against wigan on saturday, id obviously take the win against wigan. Id also rather lose tonight than to risk an injury or lack of fitness to a key team player. Im confident the weakened squad can do it tonight!

No Struijk in the squad is a strange one, but I suppose there's Berardi and KP in there as cover

Nice attacking lineup with Shacks in midfield as well. Hopefully Bogusz can get some minutes later on. Decent bench as well if it looks hairy.

Agreed. Overall, though, very happy with this lineup. Can't wait to see Costa and Nketiah together.
