Re: HORSE RACING CHALLENGE : NAP OF THE DAY

Post by Gandalf »

It is about time that we gave thought to when the flat competition ends this year. The flat season normally ends the day of the November Handicap meeting at Doncaster, which this year is Saturday November 9th. Previously, we have had complaints that this is too late, and we are missing some attractive jumps meetings in October. So your thoughts would be appreciated. NB The showcase meeting at Cheltenham is on Oct 25th / 26th this year.

As you run the show and have a preference as when to wrap it up, I'm happy with that.

OK - We are all in for the St Leger meeting - It runs from this coming Thursday to Saturday inclusive.

The final day of the flat comp will be Saturday 19th October, which allows us to get the Jumps comp underway on the following Saturday - October 26th. Thanks all.
