Niggly little fouls and the like all slows the game down and gives them a chance to have a breather. I think that is a big reason teams foul us a lot.

Sounds like we have been worked out.
Haven’t heard Harrison or Costas names mentioned?

Pearson's hereditary lineage is questionable but definitely it is a dirty one.

Ayling is crap. Too slow for this league like many of them.kingmakerbull wrote:

Can't believe that first half.
Absolutely atrocious.
I hope Bielsa makes the tea cups fly at half time.
We cannot afford to lose this

0-1 HT, Boos I hope aren't for us but for the ref.
Cooper Harrison and Phillips poor, Coop and Harrison in particular. Klich and Alio getting riled a little too easily. Difficult to pick out a good performance tbh, Alio has been combative, White as cool as usual, Ayling has gotten into good positions, shame he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo..

Starting to wonder how much that Cardiff game has affected the players. They don't seem to have the same belief and look nervous all confidence gone.
Need to really go for it second half. 1 point from a possible 9 is nowhere near good enough

It's exactly that. Leeds rely on building momentum but they are very average when other teams don't let happen.weasel wrote: Niggly little fouls and the like all slows the game down and gives them a chance to have a breather. I think that is a big reason teams foul us a lot.

Worst performance I have watched this season so far. Our lead down to 6 points if we lose this !!

Problem for me apart from the obvious is Dalls in centre mid, he isn't creative enough and dosnt have the ability to make the difficult passes - trouble is we dont have much on the bench, thought Robert's and shack were back?

It's never took too much to derail a Leeds team. If 2 matches without a win knocks the confidence out of them they may as well find another job. We talked about mental toughness on here and they need to man up , lose this and I've already said it's the beginning of the slide and I stick by that. Seen it happen far too many times .rrfierce wrote:Starting to wonder how much that Cardiff game has affected the players. They don't seem to have the same belief and look nervous all confidence gone.

Thanks to everyone who sent links. Hopefully we'll get our act together in the second half, we can still come back and win this.

Terrible first half, passing woeful - out worked and looked a yard short of pace. Preston should have collected a number of cards, a few naughty little challenges in there, they’ll keep doing it until the ref puts a stop to it. We need to pull ourselves out of this quick as Preston will kill the game to a crawl the longer it goes.

Opened very nervously, and Aling was horrible. It looks like Klich has never played football before and Dallas is nowhere We need a man strong man in midfield. Maybe a 4442 formation. Not looking forward to the second

Re: Leeds Utd v Preston North End Match Thread
Don't think the Cardiff game is to blame, we outclassed Fulham by all accounts. I think the issue is the same one we've had all season, Coop is not the second best CB at the club. Bamford needs 7 chances to score and he's not had one yet and the balance is wrong right now. Alio replaced Pablo but he's playing LWB so I'm assuming we've stuck Dallas in Pablo's creative mid position and he's not good enough to play there
