Don't want to jinx anything, but with three points today we go 11 points clear of third.

Of course, with one point today we maintain our nine point cushion with one less game until the end.

Thinking more as a precaution than a rest as such. It may be that PB is fit to play but the medical team says an extra day or two rest would be better. No point risking PB for just 1 match because if Eddie does go and PB was injured we'd be a bit screwed.

Really struggling t understand Bamford not starting...doesn't make sense to me

1 - MB never rests players
2 - Usually re-installs players very quickly after a short injury or suspension
3 - How motivated is Eddie if he knows he's playing for Brizzle/Wednesdays or whoever next week

I wonder if the Che Adams thing was further advanced than supposed and his parent club pulled out, have we gone back to Arsenal and sorted out him staying. Everyone says we need Bamford for his defensive work and how we look worse defensively when he doesn't play (don't agree with that but will bow to common consensus) Why wouldn't you start your "system" CF when you come up against your main rivals?
