Another great video of highlights from young Jack
Watch how many opportunities our supposedly £15m winger screws up, this clips proves my point,
Jack says it all at the end with his one-liner "Leeds played rubbish"

Sorry Denman you had such a disappointing dayDenman wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 8:46 am Drove up from Essex yesterday, excited and expectant after Tuesday night. My first game of the decade. My son and I listening to podcasts and discussing what might happen and who might score. Stupidly neither of us even considered that what happened might happen.
Utterly dejected. Couldn’t bring myself to read the forum yesterday. Needed time to gather my thoughts.
I’m a massive fan of Bielsa, but he was wrong yesterday. The team needs fresh blood, freshening up. We had/have the players to do it, but he didn’t change things. This wouldn't just benefit us, it gives the opposition something different to think about. It’s a no brainer. He’s good is Mr Bielsa, very good, but there is undoubtedly a big weakness in his overall strategy and it’s costing us. Badly.
There are some in the first team who should only be support/bench players. It’s pretty obvious who, but it’s not just one person. Those players should be part of a squad, and I will support them because they are Leeds players. It’s not their fault they are being used in this way when they shouldn’t be, so I would not and will not criticise or blame them. All have a role to play, but in some cases not quite the role they are being asked to perform.
I don’t think Coops is the right captain. Never have. Solid squad member. But not captain material. That should be Klich.
Alio isn’t being used correctly. Surely Douglas should be our number 1 LB?
Positives. There are some.
a) Klich is just brilliant. I’m honoured to have him at our club. What on earth was TC thinking????
b) White, ditto. Class.
c) Harrison is much improved, and I don’t really understand where criticism of him comes from.
d) Costa is improving but not yet what we thought we were getting.
Finally, this. I love this club. They have my unconditional support. Yes I get disappointed, I get down, frustrated etc. But I’ll say this. When I sit in the crowd, and I hear the bile thrown at our players, constantly, I do wonder if this feeds the fear of failure that seems to grip us at this time each year. My point is that maybe it’s not just Bielsa who is at fault. Maybe it’s the fans who are so quick to throw barbs, complain, swear, scream when somebody makes a mistake. It sickens me. It’s ridiculous. So, sadly I have to say we, the supposed fans, must also take our share of the blame for yesterday. And it gives me no pleasure to say so.
You can't blame the fans for that performance, the simple answer is some of those players are either not good enough or they are out of form & shouldn't be holding down a first-team place on a regular basis.
Once again no game-changer coming off the bench, leaving our new signings out of the picture is criminal as we threw away yet another three points against poor opposition

Q: How can you tell that Leeds have won or lost a match without checking the score?
A: Go onto a fan forum. If there is more than one match-related thread and lots of comments...we have lost.

With you on that. Bielsa is good but NOT THAT GOOD . He's won nothing and apart from improving very very average players he actually is quite infuriating . I've never liked foreign managers in charge of English teams who can't speak the language or even look people in the eye when talking to them., it's just plain ignorance and arrogance which is clearly evident on the football pitch. There is not one manager who wouldn't have had JKA and Poveda on that pitch at the end because we needed f**king goals or didn't Bielsa realize this while he's caught up in his stupid desire to play a style of football that he likes. He will stop us going up unless he changes his ways and I'll wish him Bon voyage at the end of the season.SG90 wrote: Don't want Bielsa next season tbh. Another year of Dallas and Bamford playing every week and throwing away a golden opportunity of promotion.
And yes I know we'll finish 16th or something, but I'm not particularly bothered. Rather finish 16th than spend all season in the top 2 and throw it away for a 3rd season.
We need a massive clear out, but will struggle to offload poor players on big wages.

February IS THE DECIDING MONTH. These fixtures are crucial 6 pointers in the main . Lose them and they may as well call it a day and Bielsa will need to take a long hard look at himself...only an idiot keeps repeating the same mistakes.WhiteRose wrote:I thought we had turned a corner with the come back on Tuesday instead we have let wigan do a smash and grab job on us again. 3 points were essential today considering what's coming up in the next few weeks. Feb will make or break us and at the moment I wouldn't be surprised if we are even in the top 6 by the end if it.

Next season should be about rebuilding, give the likes of Shack, Poveda, Struijk, Edmondson, Bogusz a chance. Sell Dallas, Bamford, Cooper, Kiko, Ayling, Roberts, Douglas and Forshaw. A clear out is needed.

Far too soon to be even contemplating next season but I understand what you're saying. Ripping apart the squad is not the way to go but introducing a couple of young hungry players to freshen it up will help. I've heard that Poveda and JKA are quite good but I think they've gone AWOL.SG90 wrote:Next season should be about rebuilding, give the likes of Shack, Poveda, Struijk, Edmondson, Bogusz a chance. Dallas had a couple of good games at RB and that's it. Fed up of seeing him starting at CM while Shackleton is being wasted.

Mate Bielsa is off his rocker and it will cost... around 150 million!SG90 wrote:Dallas had a couple of good games at RB and that's it. Fed up of seeing him starting at CM while Shackleton is being wasted.

We need to get rid of the perennial bottlers and the injury prone players on big wages.BGwhite wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 10:44 am Far too soon to be even contemplating next season but I understand what you're saying. We aren't going up pal. Bielsa will pick the same starting eleven for the rest of the season and come the playoffs, they will be completely shot again.

I think we are all baffled Swanniewhiteswan wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 12:38 am Why didnt Bielsa put our new man Ian on the pitch from the bench to see what he could do. I would still like to hear the comments and explanations from our members who 'totally understand' the Bielsa way. Why on earth, when it's so obvious that we need 'something different , our new guy on the bench isn't given a chance......also, why oh why, isn't our new striker on the bench.....totally baffled and to be honest not best chuffed.
I never expected us to lose all three games v Sheff Wed, QPR & Wigan, not one single point, just goes to show how fragile & vulnerable we are against average opposition.
Bielsa for all his excellent credentials & reputation shouldn't be out thought by average/run of the mill managers as often as he is, shame as we play great football but MB doesn't know how to beat certain teams because he's reluctant to change obvious things that requires changing.

Criticising Bielsa doesn't mean I want hoofball managers or dinosaurs either. He deserves criticism because he has failed to learn from last season, either that or he arrogantly is refusing to do so and at the end of the day, his stubbornness has cost us promotion once again. I'd like to see Corberan get a chance next year. He will at least give the u23s a chance, rather than sidelining them for mediocre journeymen.

Yeah and he is Argentinian and is responsible for the Falklands war. He reads to much poetry and Chinese philosophy... wouldn't surprise me in the least that he had a hand in the Corona virus outbreak, and Brexit was his idea... trying to get back at the UK for Argentina losing the Maldives.BGwhite wrote:With you on that. Unfortunately I think you will be proved right unless we can get Poveda and JKA into the team firing on all cylinders.SG90 wrote: We need to get rid of the perennial bottlers and the injury prone players on big wages.

Yes we had natural midfielders on the bench in Roberts, Shackleton & Poveda but we start & finish with Dallas
Time to be brave & make changes!

I don't even get excited watching us anymore as every game follows the same script. We dominate, waste chance after chance, opposition score with their first shot on target and leave with 3 points.

Also picking Pablo every game. He doesn't have the legs anymore, that's precisely why we brought in Poveda.
