Delighted you got to a game and We got the win. Agree on Elland road, the most enjoyable match days I’ve had we’re there, even though they normally loose when I go! There is nothing in American sports that is remotely close to matching the passion, intensity, and creativity/humor of the fans at Elland Road. Their serenading of the Huddersfield fans was epic.
Leeds have ruined me for any other sporting event. I am already planning my next trip.

While I missed the opportunity to meet up with you, Ian, I met up with some other Irish folks - two wonderful couples from Cork - while waiting for the bus back to City Center. They invited me for drinks and we’re going for lunch today. Four new friends from 5,000 miles away brought together because of our love for LUFC.

Our flight was delayed coming back which allowed for an extra celebration in the Airport Lounge. The entire plane was filled with Leeds fans from all over Ireland.
We had a great time chatting with lads from Galway, Longford, Athlone, Drogheda and even a few of us Northerners as well.
So pleased you felt the love.
