Had a good game, still needs to do better with his end product though imo, but comfortably outperforming Costa on the other wing atm. The ball just won't seem to go in for him, should have scored the volley he put wide. Getting better every game though.

What I really like about him, is his ability to take down a long pass and be able to run with it. There's been many times this season where defence has switched to attack in the blink of an eye, with someone pinging a fast ball to Jack on the wing. Invariably he controls it and runs at the opposition defence. Man City will come to rue the price they agreed to let him go to us for (whatever that was/is). Same sort of steals as Strachan and Giles from Manchester United in my opinion.

76 chances must be as good as anyone in the division. the 7 assists from those not down to him. Smacking a cross 10 foot someone's head would not count as a chance created. I don't think there's anyone in this division that comes close as a LW. Not saying he can replicate this form in the prem though no reason why not but he's a complete championship footballer now

and I reckon if I could go back and count it'd be close to 120 chances created, the collation of these stats is highly suspect. At a decent rate of finishing we'd be looking at around 30 plus assists

He is the same age as Bowen for a start who had 16 goals and 7 assists in half a season.

Benrahma has more goals and assists in far less minutes.

Eliasson has 5 more assists in over 1000 less minutes

Jed Wallace has more goals and assists in less minutes.

Bright Samuel has the same goals and assists in far less minutes.

Cavaleiro more goals same assists less minutes etc

Adam Armstong, Bryan Mbuemo,a lot of wingers have played far fewer minutes then Jack and scored and/or created more.

Jack has improved but 12 goal contributions in what amounts to just under 35 games of minutes isnt very good and is far far lower then plenty of players of a similar age or younger, Bowen, Benrahma, Mbuemo, Armstrong, Samuel.

Even if you can forgive him the assists as that may not always be down to his final ball the finishing is down to him and that definitely need improvement.

Not got a downer on him and credit him for his improvement just dont think we should go overboard

Certainly improved, his first touch is probably the best in the league.

Not trying to do him down just dont think his end product is quite up to the standard of some of the top wingers.

Hernandez was hitting mid 90s for chances created in less minutes then Jack for example.

Although

Wallace (who I rate highly) & Mbuembo are not really left-wingers

Wasn't impressed at all with Eliasson in our games v Bristol City, Samuel did okay v us at Loftius Road but I suspect he is inconsistent. Armstrong was poor & subbed at ER.

You have to question why some of those players have played less minutes?

Also do the above players track back to help their defence like the energetic Jack does?

Definitely a key point in comparing Harrison to any other championship wingers. Harrrison does so much extra and I doubt any of the other wingers would get into Bielsa's side ahead of JH if we'd signed them. Same as last year when people were raving about Wilson at Derby but he was basically given a free attacking role.

I haven't seen a opposition left-winger with so much energy & skill this season, usually those type of players standout to me when they are impressive against us!
