Barnsley have been playing their pressing game since Struber took over and are used to it. Derby don't play that way so you would imagine that if they did they would run out of steam like Fulham did.

Absolutely, if he'd been there 6 weeks ago they'd be safe I reckon.

But the thought of Rooney trying to keep up that press... :roflmao:

I hope Barnsley give Brentford as good a game as they gave us, and by some miracle they escape relegation.
It was lovely to here the manager refer to his team as "our boys"

The only worry for me is the team were out of breath at the end and we only get two days rest between the game, whereas Derby had 4.

Shrek will be out of breath after 20 mins if they try to press us.

I think three at the back works ok with KP, but without an outlet, especially in the second half it got very tight,

Eventhough it looks pretty unlikely, I'd like Barnsley to stay up. At least they've tried to play good football, they just haven't taken their chances. They're a lot better than their position suggests.

Just got in from work, having been in a Zoom Committee meeting from 3.00 to 7.30 so missed the entire game.

Mrs Muppet recorded for me - honest opinions is it worth watching in full ????

I'm getting from the match thread posts that we weren't on our A game today :duno:

Only because of our tactics & changes we invited pressure & didn't concentrate playing our own game.

The tykes don't play like that week in week out

I wouldn't bother watching it. We were shite and Barnsley should have won it. We never turned up for the second half and looked completely disjointed and knackered. Only thing that saved us is Barnsley's awful finishing. Most important thing is the win, but I would struggle to watch 3 minutes of highlights, never mind the full match.

We are crap when we get pressed and Barnsley smelt blood. We got lucky today but good luck doesn't usually follow us for very long. Need this sorting for Sunday .
