Re: CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last year definately made this team so much mentally stronger. WB and Brentford have shown their weakness and whoever goes into the playoffs probably won't get through . WB have been extremely lucky today. It's so nice to be talking about other teams rather than critiquing our own squad who are complete hero's today even if they lost the last 2 who cares !

Although it was incredibly annoying that Brentford kept winning it has turned into a good thing as this team showed their mental toughness time and again, we weren't handed anything until it was near impossible (needing 1 pt from 2 games) for us to lose it.rrfierce wrote: ↑Sat Jul 18, 2020 10:00 pm Last year definately made this team so much mentally stronger. Indeed, another reason we shouldn't just tear this squad up next season. Relegation battles in the Prem aren't necessarily dictated by ability but mentality. A lot of teams effectively get relegated because their players believe they don't belong in that league. After what this squad's been though, I can see them biting into the Prem and not letting go.

Nice but different thanks 64.
We like to visit National Trust and English Heritage places but a lot are still closed or just the gardens and parkland are open but we kind of expected it.
The cottage we stayed in was stunning though, the best we have ever stayed in.

Indeed or the players give up as they don't really have any loyalty to the club and are just thinking they are 'too good for the club' and are simply waiting to move to another club. This group of players have a togetherness and also a bond with the fans. When we got relegated from the prem before we had a team full of loanees that were just at Leeds to put themselves in the shop window having not been good enough to play for their parent clubs. There was very little fight in that team.mothbanquet wrote: ↑Sun Jul 19, 2020 8:47 am Indeed, another reason we shouldn't just tear this squad up next season. Re: CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just one point I'd like to make is that I've thought for a long time that this was going to be our year and I have done my weekly 'ELC and LUFC files (date)' because I wanted us all to have a record of this fantastic season in as many guises as possible. I'm bloody glad that I did. because I can look at them now with an unlimited pride in our achievement. If any one of you lovely people would like a copy of the source files (MS Excel spreadsheet) or the exit files (JPG or PNG pictures) just email me at '[email protected]', letting me know exactly what you'd like (sexual preferences aside!) and I'll happily send you whatever you need so you too can have your own copy. If you'd prefer to do your own stuff and need a copy of the online data but are not sure how to do it, I'll teach you, please just ask.
If you're happy just to see our glorious manager and boys in the Premiership, have at it. I'm happy no matter what - kudos to everyone through this nailbiting but oh-so-fantastic season which I've had to watch from 4,000 miles away.
Love you all sisters and brothers,

Re: CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still feels surreal !! We are finally there, at the promised land. Seeing those wonderful clips of Bielsa hugging Pablo, Tyler and KP. Brought tears to my eyes and then to see Marcelo in the huddle jumping up and down singing with the players. Magic, just magic. After 16 torturous years, we are finally back where we belong :-)
Cant wait till we can go to Elland Road again, that first game will be truly amazing, 50% capacity or not, it doesnt matter.
