An experienced and skillfull keeper who has had unfair stick imo.

If he stays he should be first choice keeper, very experienced and agile at 33.

Nothing wrong with a keeper coming so far out his goal area occasionally, I used to do it a lot, which allowed me to get to balls before strikers/wingers.

Kiko does need to keep an eye on his judgement when coming out his area though.

My only problem with continental keepers is, they tend to punch the ball more than catching it, having said that, I noticed a few British keepers, and other continental keepers doing same in championship.

Even against Derby in the play-off loss he was getting to the ball comfortably before the Derby player - unfortunately Cooper got to the ball first and we all know what followed.

His main flaw is definitely dealing with crosses.

Bit late to the party but no place for Kiko. I can only think of one worse keeper in a Leeds shirt and that was Rachbuka. With all the BLM fuss we can’t keep someone who has just served a punishment for racism. As for clean sheets, that was down to the defence, he hardly faced a decent shot on target most games.

Prior to the Cardiff game he was EFL player of the month. Easy to pick stats over a short period to try to sway an argument. Similarly Messlier conceded something like 3 more than the expected goals against from the shots faced in his few matches. Doesn't mean Messlier is a bad keeper just sometimes shots are decent.

Imo, he is possibly good enough to be a first choice keeper in the prem.

The issue is, his reputation in England is ruined. Whether you believe he is guilty or not (for the record, I do), the label he has is not something we need hanging around the club.

On top of that, I think it’s worth watching the trophy lift again and looking at his body language and interaction with the rest of the squad. He no longer looks like he is part of the group.

I think it would be a sensible move for him to return to Spain, where he still has a great reputation and a chance to start again.

Good keeper IMO . Like Klich , deserves another chance and can mentor Meslier short/medium term . Contrary to opinion I think the club has had a lot of poorer keepers in recent times .

on the contrary i'd say there's absolutely no need for him to come rushing out of goal when coops was clearly going to win the foot race - cooper a bit at fault for not seeing his keeper was out and scuffing the cross though

i'd put kiko on a list of one of the worst keepers we've had here because i don't think i've ever seen a keeper consistently make so many mistakes (wiedwald? heurelho gomes when at spurs?). might be a decent shot stopper but doesn't matter when he's dropping every other cross at an attackers foot

move him on I saw - I'd be absolutely stunned if he's started over Meslier ever again

As has been noted Kiko has been told he will be the number two so it's decided. I think he has too much baggage and with Meslier's rise, why go backwards? I would have no problem with him coming off the bench but I know he doesn't want that. So I say give him what he wants.

Played his part in a Championship winning squad and we shouldn't forget that. Every player makes mistakes so it's the team effort that gets us through and we had that in abundance last season.

Not against keeping him for this season as we have a group of young goalkeepers at the club and they'll need a senior pro amongst them. However if he decides to move on then certainly wouldn't stand in his way or be unhappy.
