Rams were originally LA, so it was just to come back given there's still many Rams fans here. Raiders have identity and history from their time in LA so would have made sense. From a commercial standpoint it makes great business sense to move to Vegas (if there's one away game NHL fans will want to go to. it's that one). But I can't help feel for the folks in Oakland, being a city of poor and black neighborhoods, the local NFL team moving is disastrous for the fans and community. As for the other now LA team, the Chargers, just why?

Nice to see the Big Six proposal shot down in the Premier League meeting today. Money to L1 and L2 clubs to be made available. Still noises that there will be an independent review of the structure of the Premier League, and PPV is not off the table. I reckon the latter is what Liverpool and Manure were after all along.

Because the Raiders took more fans to the Qualcomm than San Diego did themselves...Not much of a fanbase in SD.

Oakland did nothing to help with a new stadium and the A's were not prepared to share a new one either. Which would have left us at the massively run down Coliseum. Way too old to be a viable stadium including leaking roofs and upstairs toilets leaking into the floor below..There's a picture somewhere showing coke cups catching leaks all over the place.

IN LV we get the best stadium in the NFL with the possible exception of the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Georgia (love that one) and keep the fanbase and black hole etc...Shame it's basically called the All (E) Giant stadium

Voted down , this one . Even Man U and Liverpool voted against . Now why would you vote against something you proposed ? Did they not anticipate such a backlash ? Are they REALLY so out of touch ? The other big 4 hiding in the background , still equally culpable IMO . Glad it's got the boot in its current form , still think they will rejig it somehow .

I have to say I think there's some truth in that.....they don't want anyone 'doing a Leicester'. I was listening to Arsene Wenger being interviewed today and he said something similar. That every club has a right to attempt to win the biggest prizes and basically "If you take the competition out of Sport, then there is no point and it just becomes entertainment, not a sport any more".

Exactly this, IMO. Both our clubs could easily do that and it scares them. So they want to lock us out as soon as possible abs then also have a final say on takeovers at other clubs to bat those back as well. It’s pathetic.

Since formation of PL only Blackburn and Leicester have broken monopoly of the big 6 in titles won(one each ) - as they say in Dad's Army , they don't like it up ' em !!!!! Oddly of the big 6 Spurs haven't won the PL so I guess they are honour big 6 only .
Ardent is of course correct . There was a time , maybe 1970's , each new season bought hope of a trophy for a lot of clubs . Now it's just about staying in the PL regardless , it's become a very nasty place in a way , made nastier by recent shenanigans from the completely out of touch big 6 . They have shown themselves as the greedy suits that they are who don't like competition of any sort , makes the Leicester win more pleasing and the hope someone can achieve this again and rock their little boat again .

In fact since Spurs last won the top domestic title we've won 3 should have won at least 5 or 6 and have finished runners up 5 times. Trophy wise Spurs cannot compete with us over the last 60 years.

The big 6 was once the big 5 , I think around the early 2000's . Up until recently Man City weren't one of them and Chelsea inclusion also recent .Spurs are there despite lack of silverware in recent years . I would say only Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool have a long consistent history of success .Everton over the past 30 years or so have more right IMO than Spurs . It is a shifting thing this big5/6 with even Newcastle claiming a right in the early 2000's . I do think they have been given a huge reality check by fans ,probably not only of other clubs but maybe a proportion of their own , but it shows how far from reality the big clubs have gone . I'd hope this brings them back down to earth a bit .
