Wolves showing their PL experience here, easily seeing out the game. They've coped with relative ease, and we've looked pretty devoid of ideas this second half. Perhaps a learning curve for us to build on.

Stinker
Losing 3 nil would've been a stinker. We lost 1 nil via a deflected goal to a good team. We're in the Prem now, have to get used to losing a few.

Good effort against most of the the Portugee national team... cruel deflection,...Wolves are a good team, lots of positive, a game of two halve's... after all this is the premier league...

Fine margins.
We didn't score when we were on top, they did.
Despite a lot of good football their keeper was hardly tested.
Cruel way to concede a goal, Kalvin was attempting to head it out for a corner.

The impact of losing Coops was well illustrated with Phillips having to drop into CB when Struik came off. It meant we had no DLP in there to pull the strings.

Hopefully having Pablo back will give us more creativity in the middle of the park.

Solid team performance, unlucky goal to concede but downside would be a significant lack of creativity up top. Cross after cross went in nowhere near anyone from our team and for all our possession in and around the box created very little. Draw would have been a fair result though. Some bizarre ref/var calls too

Undone by a Phillips OG. Wolves turned the screw a bit more 2nd half but we still got in enough good positions and wasted just about every cross. The lads never really got going second half. It was another one of them (we could have played for another hour and still not scored) games.

No disrespect to Wolves but that game felt like being back in the Championship and we ran out of ideas. Not to worry we will have more space against Villa. Onwards and upwards.

We lost regardless of how, so really can't take too many positives from a defeat.

Maybe too long a break in the end, I don't think much of Bamford as a footballer and his lack of presence today a big factor.

More ref this time though...Odd don't you think that the ref ...gets so much wrong on the pitch as well as when he is in charge of VAR

Looked a bit like one of those Championship games against good counter attacking/defensive sides. Nuno managed the game well, Wolves have taken big scalps playing like they did against us.

Our biggest weakness is teams on the counter, there’s no better team in the PL at that than Wolves.

We go again Friday!

Surely the manner of a defeat makes a difference?

Levels below our best today, internationals definitely snapped our rhythm and we waited too long for the subs. Passing way off, but saying that luck decided it in the end. There's goes in, ours go over the bar. It was like a Championship game with the diving and feigning injuries, bit embarrassing Wolves spent all that money just to be a shithouse team. Hopefully Jimenez is banned for 3 games, if he was wearing a Leeds shirt he'd be off.

Depends how you define "Stinker" 8-)

It was a tough job night which we got nothing from ie. A stinker.

That in itself is a defeatist attitude... 1-0 loss (defelcted goal) against an established Prem team ...lots of positive's

It was our worst performance of the season by far. Just one of those games where the luck goes against you, we had many of those in the Championship too.
