The refs let them get away with many fouls, and seams everytime we touch them they get one

Another chance wasted, should we be leading here?

Never a pen, I'd never give Grealish a pen as he hit's the ground if the wind catches him wrong. Top quality player with disgusting habits .

Bamford misses the target again, where have we heard that before?

Superb first half performance. Absolutely delighted with our display.

Always uneasy when it’s a 0-0 at half time

Both sides look very dangerous on the attack.
Harrison has been brilliant.

Better team first half playing the better football. Villa relying on getting FK's..
Alioski and Harrison our best players with latter laying it on a plate for Paddy a couple of times, Shack looks good on the ball, Rodrigo does something lovely then does something poorly...Klich coming into it a bit more and great tackle to stop a top shooting chance after a poorish start for him. Ayling also having a goodun though we're missing his runs ...
I can see Costa coming off and maybe Paddy second half

You can just see the difference in quality in these sides, this is falling into a similar pattern

Villa know they are in a game. Impressed by the boys so far. No disgrace and lots of joy down the left.

Comfortably the better side playing the better football.
Villa's only moments have come from our occasional sloppy play.
Should be 2 or 3 up.
Worried that we have seen this all before, better side, should be ahead, end up losing.

Re: Aston Villa v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Struijk starts in defensive midfield
Alioski played well first half despite all the naysayers
Bamford could have hit the target a couple of times
Strujik was playing well apart from those couple of tackles that forced the switch
Shackleton looked lively
Like Klich in that DMC role
Harrison fantastic down the left
We started really well. Great tempo. But ran a little ragged towards the end, with a few wayward or short passes
