Love Strujik, always enjoy watching the lad. We're in safe hands now Koch's found his rhythm.

I think Struijk would be better playing in a back 3 against Wolves.

Bielsa usually likes the extra CB when faced with two up front. And we will need to cope with Jiminez a lot better than we did with Mitro.

Not sure if the bodies are available for that now due to the injuries we have.

He could still do that - Ayling, Koch, Strujik. We saw that against Sheff U. Costa and Harrison dropped further back with Dallas in that free midfield role.

Thanks!! Greetings from Argentina!! Always read you guys, but i'm too shy for to comment. I'm a Bielsa's big fan. His work ethic and humble personality show that Argentines can be better than the rest of the world believes. I apologize for my basic English.

I love how many fans of Bielsa's prior teams are becoming Leeds supporters. You should know that many Leeds fans now consider Newell's Old Boys their South American team.

Some comments from the Guardian about last nights game.

For Villa this was a reality check inflicted by a team whose play bordered at times on the otherworldly.

Leeds, in particular, produced a spectacle of beautiful style and substance. Bamford got the goals but this was a collective triumph orchestrated by Bielsa.

Here goes..

Thought I'd come on here, tail firmly between legs, and say congrats on the win the other night. 100% deserved and was about the most impressive away performance I've seen at Villa Park since Chelsea turned up last season. Bielsa is working wonders with the squad you have but I also think you have some very underrated players. I thought Harrison and Rodrigo were superb and Alioski great down that side too.

It might have been a different game had Grealish chances gone in but to be honest, you should have been 2/3 up at half time.

I honestly think you can challenge top 4 this season. Everybody is beating everybody. Chelsea look like they've never played with each other before. Liverpool will struggle a little without Van Dijk, Guardiola looks as though he's done at Man City and United are just a complete joke. There is no reason Leeds can't stake a claim for a CL spot and perhaps Villa too, albeit our squad is quite light.

Good luck with the rest of the season!

Would hate to get carried away but this is as good a year as we will get for clubs like ours to get into Europe

And to you too.

Worth noting also that if the season ended on PPG today, your lot would lift the title ;-)

Thank you Villa_fan01 for taking the trouble of posting on here and being so fair minded and generous about our performance.

I’ve said before that in my opinion it was the best performance yet from Bielsa’s Leeds, especially bearing in mind that one of our pivotal player’s Phillips, our captain Cooper and our Spanish International centre back Llorente were all out injured and the team had to quickly adapt to a new formation after our young DMF Struijk was subbed less than halfway through the 1st half.

We have some very good players at Leeds but individually no better than, and in a lot of cases probably not as good as, a lot of other teams players in this division (certainly Grealish, to name but one) but that seems to make no difference because with “Bielsaball” (where there is no room for individuality), as long as you are fit enough, work hard enough and carry out your allotted function within the team, you will more than match any other team and can often look like world beaters.

It would be great if Leeds (and Villa too) could ruffle a few feathers in the league this year and get amongst the so called big 6 and perhaps make it “the big 7 (or 8)”! I believe that our standing within the English game, the size of our club and fan base could well justify that designation.
