I think we made the French look better than they actually were last night. They played well, but we had so many handling errors and made some poor decisions throughout, architects of our own downfall. To be honest, I can't see the All Blacks losing too much sleep over the northern hemisphere sides at the minute.

Somewhat mate, Ireland without doubt are one of the top 5 in the world, and should have taken the game on paper... But you cannot deny the Frog forwards turned up in magical form yesterday ...

Think its to do with Covid Mick, teams who have been tested and played together play each other again 48-72 hours later, all about the Covid bubble......

I was wondering what was going on in RL - some teams having games voided and points awarded to the opposition due to Covid (Mostly those at the top) whilst others have to play ridiculous amounts of games in short periods with depleted squads.

You have to take your hat off to some teams , Wakefield for example fulfilling fixtures where others appear to chuck it at the slightest opportunity. Leeds are able to field 2 teams but it's not ideal

Superleague season ends early as the play offs have been brought forward to next week as Hull KR ended their season early due to a Covid outbreak. HKR said they would be unable to play their remaining fixtures leading to the season being restructured. The top six teams ( after Wigan v Huddersfield on Friday) will fight it out to win the League Leaders' Shield.

Superleague clubs vote unanimously in favour of returning to a 12 team 27-round structure from next season. Also, Toronto Woolfpack's proposed return has been rejected. That means it will trigger a licensing process, with Championship and League one clubs bidding to take the place of Toronto.

I'm a bit out of touch with things now, but who is the "biggest of the rest" nowadays? When I was a lad, Featherstone Rovers were, but I'm sure others are considered "bigger" clubs these days.

Yes, Featherstone Rovers were always a big RL club, now they are in the Championship. I'd love to see them in Superleague instead of, say Toulouse or Catalans (I dont believe that French or Canadian teams should be playing in our English leagues I'm a traditionalist ) who are also in the Championship. A few years ago Bradford Bulls (formally known as Bradford Northern) were winning everything in sight in Superleague but got into trouble, ended up in administration and are also in the Championshiip.
Big guns in the Superleague at the mo I would say St Helen's.....

Leeds are denied their first try of the game after Matt Prior seemingly crossed over with ease following a clever dummy on the line.

However it's chalked off for an obstruction in the build-up and Catalans win a penalty.

Another Catalans try. 4 Leeds player and 1 Catalan player go to catch the ball....the Catalan bloke catches it and scores! 18-0

Leeds are awful tonight. Catalans through them like a hot knife through butter. Too many individual errors arent helping either....
