Far to early to be saying it is a must win ... albeit, we should , and do try to win every game.1964white wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 12:17 pm I think we'll all feel more comfortable if we do gain a victory Sara.
After our impressive start in the PL, 12th position would feel disappointing especially when you consider how poor many of the matches have been over the last couple of weekends.
We've been a breath of fresh air, lets hope our scintillating form continues!

Not too afraid of Vardy honestly, Koch has pace about him and Bielsa will have meticulously planned to nullify him. However, Leicester are more than just Jamie Vardy these days. Harvey Barnes terrorised us when he was loaned to West Brom and he's just the kind of player we hate - direct, powerful and hard to stop. He'll be the one Klich will need to be ruthless with.

Re: Must win situation...
They are still trying to sell in the media that "our style of play will cause burn out"...yet we have less games to worry about than all the big 6.
The bulk of our squad are now 2 years(into the 3rd) into the God's style (and expectations) of play, we can even afford to put some effort into an FA cup run, and still be game light... The big 6 have yet to really feel the crunch of games and (potential) injuries...
IMO we are in a very good position this year, and will be even better next year as financially we will be able to add to an already very impressive squad...
The league will be Yo-yo for the next couple of weeks, before it stabilises...I have such a good feeling moving forward ...

If I get nervous I just look at our fellow promoted teams and small clubs like Sheffield, and I feel much better.Smudge3920 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2020 12:52 pm Re: Must win situation...

Seems ages since we smashed the myth that is Gabby Abonglahor's Aston Villa
Leicester will probably set up like Wolves and look to catch us on the break, but we have more than enough to beat them.
We don't fear anyone

Come on the boys. Another marker could be put down tonight. Do they sit back and invite us on? Or do they have a go. I think they will have a go. Rogers will want the world to see that his teams can also play good attacking football and this is not just the Marcelo Bielsa show. Even tho secretly he knows it is.

Damn, had a good feeling about Rodrigo and Raphinha this week, so I'm gutted neither can feature, particularly Rodrigo who has the guile to unlock defences. We look light on firepower if Bamford has an off day. Feeling a bit nervous about this one, and I already had in my head at least one penalty for Vardy.
(Also, do the Covid protocols mean Rodrigo will miss our next game too?)

Am I the only one who starts cr***ing it a couple of hours before the game, only to relax immediately when the boys start playing and remind me that we don’t need to fear anyone?
We might not win every game but we have every right to hold our heads high so far.
Who’s on the bench?
Just spotted it - only Poveda to have an impact if necessary then, unless Tyler has one of his rare inspired outings.

Koch should be all over Vardy like a rash tonight, feeling hopeful we’ll get a result

Would worry that Leicester will try to do a Wolves job tonight. Without the guile of Rodrigo and Raphinha it could be difficult to unlock them. Hopefully Hernandez hits form as he could be key again for us tonight.
A win tonight would now be massive - I’d take the draw and keep momentum.

Worried now.
Rodders and Raph were signed for this exact sort of game, try and unlock tight defences.
If Pablo, Costa and Harrison arent on it our options are limited to Poveda whose still very young and Roberts who hasnt looked Prem class at all.
Come on Pablooooo
Also Coops vs Vardy is a mismatch in terms of pace, Coops has a habit of tugging shirts or diving in when out paced.
