After watching BPF playing for Burnley v City today it makes Messlier look even better. Still can't believe we got £5m for BPF - about the same price we paid for Messlier.

Quite incredible displays for a keeper who is only 20yo, possesses such a cool head. Illan can only get better with more PL experience

I wonder if Dyche will stick with BPF if he has the same injury problems. Surely his game time at Burnley will remain limited

If Dyche thought BPF was good enough to play before the City game, then conceding 5 against City won’t change his mind.

Burnley always concede loads at City, even with Pope in goal. Nothing new there and BPF definitely not to blame.

It wasn't the amount of goals conceded but the way they were conceded and just how shaky he looked.

Yes, I agree 64, his displays exude calmness and confidence. After his performances last season I never doubted he would hack it at Prem level.

I remember people saying on here that BPF was thrust in too soon, well I disagree with that, as if you're good enough you're old enough, as Meslier has proved. At the same age BPF was prone to plenty of errors.

So definitely an upgrade on BPF and Kko.

I believe Meslier is a superstar in the making

6 saves from shots inside the box... That stat in itself is a MoM stat... unbelievable.

What a keeper

Imagine the player he will be in 5-10 years time, let alone now

True, I didn't see the Chelsea players running to the ref saying "You need to give a pen mate."
