7)  Any special memories of our games v the Hammers at Elland Road

Wouldn't say special and not even sure it was Elland Road but vaguely remember Lampard doing a dance around a corner flag after scoring vs us for some reason.
He was copying his father who celebrated scoring a last minute winner in a cup semi final replay at Elland Road in similar fashion .

Bera should be able to do the job... he is an international after all.
Let's get Lindsey, because it will not be too long before Barn door is found out, and will go on a 15 game baron streak as usual... then we can have Rodders up front with Lindsey as 10, Rapha on the wing...
Tyler should go out on loan for a year or 2
Hopelessly lost.................. But making good time

Good Afternoon from the high dependency ward at Southampton General Hospital!!!

Just got back home.

So, I've had a loooong term chest infection.

4 lots of different antibiotics.

Recently started to cough up the phlegm.

Seems excess coughing has caused severe pain to the right side of my abs.

Any coughing, inhaling of breathe or anything manual is agony.

3 lots of blood tests, nebulizer,

ECG, and Echocardiogram abd bloods all clear.

Pain is unbelievable. Theyve given me oral morphine and kodine.

Just got back from the General

1) Are you happy with tonight's line-up? Would you have made anymore changes apart from Rodrigo?

Ayling, Struijk, Cooper, Dallas for me with Costa replacing Jack (ones favourite pupil) on the right

2) Do you enjoy 8pm kick-offs on a Friday night?

Love watching Leeds anytime, use to watching 7.45pm in evening matches when it is freezing, at least I'm not arriving home at 3 to 4am from long away trips in the south

3) Who do you consider West Ham's most influential/dangerous player?

Bowen is an obvious talent however Soucek is their most consistent performer from midfield & may give us a few problems

4) How good are West Ham this season in your opinion?

Tbh football-wise I haven't been that impressed with the hammers, they are a rugged side & may wait to catch us on the break, this West Ham team don't remind me of their sides that use to play with style

5) If there is one player you could pluck out of the current West Ham team, who would it be?

I'm unsure if they have anyone who is better than what we have or would fit into Bielsaball. We'll find out tonight

6 Do you rate David Moyes?

Not particularly, a mid-table/relegation type manager. Should have stayed at Everton, a disastrous move for any coach following Fergie

7) Any special memories of our games v the Hammers at Elland Road

Must have seen Leeds beat West Ham at ER at least ten times during the Revie-era, I can't recall any defeats or draws certainly not in our league campaigns. Amazing really they had Moore, Peters, Hurst, Bonds, Boyce, Byrne in their ranks, top drawer players including three of England's World Cup winning team

8 Who are your favourite West Ham players from the past?

Bobby Moore, Martin Peters, Geoff Hurst, Ronnie Boyce, Johnny Byrne, Trevor Brooking, Paolo De Canio, Rio Ferdinand

9) Win, lose or draw?

Win

10) Would you be happy with a point?

As long as we beat the Barcodes in our next match, four points required I reckon.

I dont know about everyone else but I am struggling to enjoy this season now.

Its like a throwback to the previous two seasons ( well the second half of Bielsas first season and most of last season)

The anxiety is back. Im back stressing over players performances and of course the results instead of being able to sit back and just enjoy it.

I don't know if it was losing last week or losing our defensive CBS, or worry about Pablo being marginalized by Bielsa but something about this week `has been so different to the first quarter of the season where even when we were leaking goals I just knew we would be fine.

But sometime between last Saturday and today the mood has changed.

I really hope tonight we can put our mark on this league with a good performance ahead of the holiday season.

Thats a shame mate... personally I am loving it, when you think we have only brought 4 new players in...and still have not had all 4 play in the same starting line up I am very confident for the 2nd half of the season...plus MB's knowledge of our opps grows every week... We are going to be just fine ...MOT :scarfe2:

1) Are you happy with tonight's line-up? Would you have made anymore changes apart from Rodrigo?

I'd have left Ayling at RB and brought Struijk in.

2) Do you enjoy 8pm kick-offs on a Friday night?

I hate them before, and after if we lose. Ruins the weekend. However, if we win I love it, sit back, relax and watch how our rivals do.

3) Who do you consider West Ham's most influential/dangerous player?

Benrahma/Bowen.

4) How good are West Ham this season in your opinion?

Mid-table - like Leeds.

5) If there is one player you could pluck out of the current West Ham team, who would it be?

Bowen.

6 Do you rate David Moyes?

Grudgingly.

7) Any special memories of our games v the Hammers at Elland Road

Nope.

8 Who are your favourite West Ham players from the past?

Peters, Moore, Bond. Shows my age. :x

9) Win, lose or draw?

Win.

10) Would you be happy with a point?

Ish. Rather one than none, but we're the home team and I feel we can hump them if we play to our abilities.

I've found recently that such ill-defined unease tends to fade away as soon as the match starts and I see the confidence flowing in the team Ian - I hope it works for you too tonight, it'll mean we've started well. :)

The Pablo speculation and concern that Rodrigo will get ticked off on the bench have been my personal niggles lately.

Hope so Dave.

I too was conceded about Rod getting game time but from now on he should start in every match. Let's hope he and Raph can put them on a plate for Bamford

1) Are you happy with tonight's line-up? Would you have made anymore changes apart from Rodrigo?

Lets hope Bielsa puts Pablo back on the bench.

2) Do you enjoy 8pm kick-offs on a Friday night?

Anything but Monday nights for me.

3) Who do you consider West Ham's most influential/dangerous player?

We know about Bowen. Reading the Hammers fans pages they think Antonio will be a big loss. I also forgot that's where Benrahma ended up.

4) How good are West Ham this season in your opinion?

I will be honest and say other than Leeds a watch virtually no football. The league table tells me they are going well.

5) If there is one player you could pluck out of the current West Ham team, who would it be?

Bowen.

6 Do you rate David Moyes?

Yes. He was great at Everton. They used to the top teams a torrid time at Goodison park. He lost his mojo after going to MU

7) Any special memories of our games v the Hammers at Elland Road

We normally do well against them

8 Who are your favourite West Ham players from the past?

The timing of that Di Canio Scissor kick was pretty special. They have had some good players down the years.

9) Win, lose or draw?

We need a win!

10) Would you be happy with a point?

Its tempting to say yes with our current defensive frailties, but i want to get to 40 points as fast as possible... so no. :)

So four of us think Struijk should have been given an opportunity tonight.

Must be frustrating for Pascal when he is 4th in line after our CB's Cooper, Koch & Llorente but still isn't starting :o

The little time Rod and Paddy have been seen on the pitch together they seemed to have been developing a bit of an understanding and appear to like playing together, I hope it flourishes into the sort of 9/10 partnership we need.

I wish Klich would start hitting the target, even a jammy goal might re-ignite his cutting edge going forward (to mix my metaphors). :)

Awful sounding night/days you have had Ell. Glad to hear the coughing is loosening, nothing worse that that dry pointless irritating cough.

Will Leeds return for Rodrigo de Paul in January?

I think depending where we are in the league will determine if there is any transfer activity.

What future for Tyler Roberts?

I am not really sure where he fits in this team. If Bamford gets injured Rodrigo goes up top for me. I guess he's in direct competition with Shackleton. Take your pick... altho i'm unsure if any of them will turn out to be good enough for the PL? Bielsa seems to like him tho.

Can Gaetano Berardi play a part this season?

Has much as i think Bera is a warrior and always gives 100%. Its a big ask after such a long layoff to come back at this level. Never right him off tho, but i can't see him playing again for Leeds?

Berardi?

My first thought was - Berardi might play for us again - after Llorente and Koch injuries. I don't see us buying another center back with them on the roster. So, late-season injuries might see Berardi play a part for us. That said, we've got some great prospects in Casey, Cresswell, Drameh, and Kenneh too.

Roberts?

It's going to take an injury crisis to get him involved again. There's too much attacking midfield, but injuries to Bamford and Rodrigo would get him a game upfront. It would probably be best for him to go play for a crappy championship team next year to see if he can develop as a starting striker. In the aforementioned injury scenario, I'd rather see Gelhardt and Greenwood getting a look.

RDP?

Don't think we're looking for a striker or an attacking mid. I think Bielsa just wants a box-to-box midfielder, someone that could play beside or behind Klich

Glad to hear you're home Ell!

Berardi- What a servant he has been. Not sure we will see him on the pitch in any meaningful way this season, but a backup/bench player I would be more than happy to see him. Got to remember that any game time will potentially put him at risk of a new injury and no chance of moving on at the end of the season (like last season).

Roberts- Also don't see what role he can play for us. Doesn't seem to fit any of the positions properly (maybe striker, but he's behind Bam and Rodders, and like others would like to see Greenwood or Gelhardt get a chance as third in line).

RDP- Would take him in a heartbeat in January, but we really do need one more CB as priority over CM/CAM.
