Does it matter Faaip? bearing in mind Bielsa has many of his players playing out of their natural position. He has played Harrison, Costa, Raphinha, Dallas on both flanks

From what I've seen of Davis he looks a better wing-back than CB, that may change in time!

To me playing Pascal alongside Cooper looks our only serious option right now, may helps Coops game too if he knows his partner can win a few crosses

We need some points tonight.

A win would be fantastic, and a draw would at least give some positivity before heading into a series of important matches.

First 6 matches we gained 10 points scored 12 and conceded 9

Last 6 matches we gained 4 points scored 5 and conceded 13

This negative trend needs to stop. We've benefitted from the form of the bottom teams, who've been unable to pick up points, but that won't last forever. Particularly, as some of those clubs may give their coaches their P45s soon, Arsenal, WBA, Blunts, Brighton, etc, and that could change their fortunes.

That's compounded by the Keystone Cops, Alioski and Harrison defending the left-side. I think it's at least worth giving Davis, a natural left-back, a go as well. You then have four specialist defenders in their natural positions.

We also need the players further up the park to hold the ball up, pass well and create chances as that's the best way of relieving pressure at the back.

Well you can't say Bielsa doesn't show faith in his players. The same 11 players that is.

Very very attacking line-up again. I would say we only have Cooper & Phillips who are not attack minded. The rest will be all over the pitch.

I think Newcastle will hit plenty of back to front balls looking for knockdowns on the break. That's another thing i have noticed, we don't win many of the balls just outside the box in the air either.

All that being said if we can pace ourselves hopefully we can get something from this game.

Looks like Costa's days are numbered unless he's injured.
