Checks and balances that is all it is.

When we suffer a defeat or seem to be playing badly then it is pretty obvious that mass hysteria takes over in the match day thread.

We loose all sense of proportion and let our frustrations flow at full force.

Then if there is a miraculous turn of fortune, we are full of praise for the players we have been cursing a few seconds ago.

Exactly.

Does everything Bielsa wants a striker to do. All year last year many, many people were saying "he does all the dirty work, he tracks back, he defends corners, he works his tail off, but he can't put the ball in the back of the net." I even fell prey to that line of thinking once or twice, and I have been one of his defenders.

Now that he's doing all those other things AND putting the ball in the net, all we can talk about is what price we could get for they guy?

Seriously?

He wasn't always that bad, in fact he saved our bacon on many occasions, the whole team had a stinker in that game, definitely a night to forget
I would have Pontus back in an instant. For goodness sake Bielsa named him as our best player at one stage - are people now questioning Bielsa's judgement on the matter, or do they just have short memories ? Even if he was independent minded and a bit of a character with strong opinions, would we have got rid of Jack Charlton for similar reasons ?

His finishing was poor last season - 16 goals in a team that finished 10 points clear at the top, and a side which created far more chances than any other team was well below par. This season though he has been a revelation - his finishing has massively improved, and most importantly he seems keen to work hard on improving his game. I have certainly changed my opinion of him as a striker. I wonder what would happen if he got injured though ? Would Pablo take over at no 10 and Rodrigo start as the no 9 ?

All the angles.

Absolutely not!

Fans only remember Pontus's poor games, I tell you something we wouldn't have conceded four goals in that Derby play-off semi-final game had Jansson played, he'd have been right up for that one!

Just noticed the player who ends up next to Harrison was Raphinha, who was the second closest Leeds player to our own goal when the ball was cleared.

Cooper & Ayling win very few crosses, both decent on the ground but surely CB's are suppose to be dominant in the air.
To be fair to Ayling he shouldn’t be playing the CB role, Cooper rarely wins anything in the air and he loves going to ground in the tackle far too easily. I’m hoping Koch improves and that by the end of the season we see a solid partnership of Koch and Llorente

So six games for Klich & Phillips not to acquire a booking, no chance of that not happening, they are more likely to get two over those set of games.

Dallas is on 3 yellows
Let’s hope they don’t pick one each up in the same game

The lament of the football fan of any club, when their team has lost. Could just as easily be a Leeds fan on another day.

That would seriously weakened our line-up, one of them are bound to get a yellow at OT

Both pick-up stupid needless yellow cards at times

that's extremely harsh on coops, he wins a lot in the air

in fact:

coops: headers won 43, lost 30
koch: headers won 31, 25
ayling: headers won 23, 17

...better heading stats than koch

Cooper wins 69.77%
Koch wins 80.64%
Ayling wins 73.91

So that depends how you want to look at stats.

Where are those stats from as they're completely different to the ones above?

From elsewhere but going on your stats, there's not much in it.

Cooper 58.9
Koch 55.35
Ayling 57.50
