Up to 11th and nine points clear of relegation playing with one of the more makeshift lineups we've had to field in quite a while.

All in all, a good day.

Rodrigo isnt a true 10 in this system as you say he's a false 9 and it feels like we have two players playing the same position.
Agree. Rodrigo is a class player. But that position is a tough one for him. Its worked against teams that sit back and give us space. But it doesn't work against teams that pack the middle. He needs to figure out how to get in better positions and dictate the game. I was looking for Pablo at HT. Rodrigo didn't play bad. He was just ineffective.

Could have a go at a few of them for that today, our winger and No 10 for a start

True but Burnley are creatively poor, if they werent pur lacklustre performance 2nd half would have been punished far better.

Like I predicted not even a sniff of a goal for Burnley even without Llorente.

A deserved 3 points overall. Burnley's tactic of muscling Meslier into a mistake for an equaliser made for a nervey finish. Leeds held on and bagged the three points.

Sometimes teams are to clever for their own good, sell him to us for 25 which is value, buy a player that;s needed ..IIRC they have a stack of CB's in Brighton

We'd be better off and so would they

Again our system works for certain players and not for others, but if you're very good in our system chances are you won't be as good in a normal one..

I'd be happy to go back in for him in Jan starting at 15M, his value has dropped

Dont think Klich, Rodders and KP work, the spaces between them grow as the game goes on (although imp Rodders did ok today).

We do need that Saiz replacement we never signed.

De Paul

But a proper natural 8/10 is required.

Douche he's a whiney fucker, and his brand of anti-football, doing him no favours at the moment.

True, everyone moans about Bamford, yet how many chances have Harrison and Rodrigo wasted?

I dunno, he hasn't really stood out in the PL. If we survive, we should set our sights much higher.

No but that s**t happens ..he's a bit of a streak scorer. I remember Gary Mac going through periods when he couldn't hit a barn door with a cow playing a banjo ...something like that

But he would be magnificent for us, ball playing CD excellent in the air. You're confusing quality with form playing for a poor team. But it shouldn't be a 50m price tag now, Brighton should take sub 20...They'll want to add to other areas to fight relegation

I love Klich, but his body language was all wrong today, no enthusiasm, not showing for the ball and making midfield runs like he usually does, standing still and letting play pass him by.

As I said during the match, he looks short of confidence suddenly, perhaps a bit of burnout after thirty relentless months.

Yes, I think you can play two of the three in the roles they’ve played, but not all of them.

I don’t think there is a midfielder on the planet that has the legs to play the way that Klich is being required to play right now.

He’s an 8, but when all four wide players are bombing forward and the 10 is basically a striker...

With the players we had available today... I’d probably give that role to Dallas, and played Klich in his natural role... with Phillips alongside Ayling in a defensive pairing.

Shacks at RB and Struijk on the bench. The Villa game took something from him. He isn’t the same.

But that was in the Championship.

Great defensive performance without our three main centre-backs.
Phillips, Struijk & Ayling immense. Well done Leeds 👏👏👏 11th in the PL too!

Really hoping they drop down and that Bielsa orders an SAS-style operation to bring our hostage home.

2 for me. We're much stronger defensively without Cooper.
