I thought that - he’s growing into a PL quality CB, and is getting picked in his proper position now Kalvin’s back leaving Ayling at RB where he belongs. Leaps and bounds, if still plenty to learn.

With Raph and Rodders injured we really should be looking to bring someone in before deadline.

Even a loan but we have gone from wafer thin squad to absolutely no depth in certain areas.

He does a job.

Neither him nor Dallas will be starting next season and thats probably right.

But they do a job atm (dont like Dallas at cm.though today aside).

Yeah a proper old school tackle from Coops but he timed it perfectly

Buzzing. Best performance and win of the season and we came from behind too. A real team performance. Better defensively, except for the goal. Shrink and Cooper excellent. Raphinha is a Brazilian football God and great performance Bamford, wonderful strike considering he hadn't scored for a while. Bit of a worry if all 4 of our signings are injured at once, not much depth there to cover them.

Struijk is getting better, really unlucky not to get a goal too.

Well pleased.

At this rate we will see Greenwood, Gelhardt or Summerville getting game time.

Tomorrow will be interesting, the U23s have a game who isnt in the squad may tell us somethi g about Rod and Raph.
Did anyone notice that Raph already had strapping on his thigh?

Strujik looked comfortable at the back the whole game. In the 1st half I just kept yelling at him to be a little more assertive - he just kept looking for the closest pass, Aying or Meslier. Bielsa must have said something at half time because he started making long passes and even a couple of forward runs, That was great awareness to get a foot in and create the opening for the 2nd goal. Plus he got the header that set off the 3rd goal. Always had high hopes for him and the second half today was exactly what we knew he was capable of.

I always feel more nervous when we're playing the sides below us. Today was a lot more relaxing. :D

I missed that part of the interview. But it was a good sign that they let him do the interview and didn't send him for treatment right away

Fabulous result built on a fabulous performance. Have to admit that I didn’t see this one coming. Everyone played their part and worked their socks off.

Great to see Klich, Bamford, Cooper and Struijk on top form. Philips had Maddison in his pocket all day and both Harrison and Raphinha were causing mayhem when they attacked.

Hope to God we don’t have Rodrigo or Raphinha missing due to injuries. That would be the only downer on a great day.

Also, hadn’t noticed that we finished with the complete Championship team! It was mentioned on Sky. More salt in the Leicester City wounds!😄

It won't make a difference. Bielsa will hold any new signing back for a month, by which time you'd expect both players to be back.

Having such a huge cushion means we can just relax and play without any huge pressure for the last 18 games, something we have never been afforded under MB. Can see a few letting themselves unleashed.

I was thinking about that too. But with only 2 days, Bielsa might hold back all the 1st team squad as a precaution.
