f**k off man, he's Leeds!
That really pissed me off.
We will be a top Premier League side if we keep hold of the likes of Raphinha!

Raphinha turned down CL football for us, so you do worry if he has itchy feet.

I agree...and when we play like this we get clean sheets...IMO it is a sign the team is maturing into the prem...

Alternatively it could suggest he doesnt take the easy option?

Prefers a challenge?

It is the clubs job to convince him we are going to be challenging for trophies and top 6 soon.

4 quality players in the summer and i think we can.

Said it before the game ....the heart was out of CP...no Zaha... todays loss means they have not won their last 19 games when he has not played ...

Great performance from him today.
The lad did well

Always insisted Struijk should be played as a CB when Marcelo was experimenting with Pascal as a DM & Ayling & Phillips were used as CB's.

We've looked much steadier at the back especially with set-pieces.

Yes mate it will come...it is what he brings to our back line thats the most impressive... a calmness, , sometimes I think he should be a little more confident to play it forward , he lays it off to Cooops an awful lot... but maybe for now he is under instructions to do that...

Until I saw that stat tonight, I didn't realise how many times we've hit the woodwork.

Hope the injury isn't serious
Didn't look good Dan, I reckon Bielsa wanted to take him off earlier but didn't want to risk allowing Palace back in the game.

Palace only used 6 subs, while we had 5 youngsters on the bench. That doesn't really send a good message to their youngsters does it?

Orta sold him the full Leeds package - historic, sleeping giant rising up, building a new team, the legend that is Bielsa at the wheel, fanatical support and a plan to make waves in the toughest league in the world. No lies there yet.

It was a big risk joining a newly promoted club but he went for it. It’s paying off in spades. He must see that he is improving with every game under Bielsa and the style of play is suiting him. He’s heading for a Brazilian cap if he keeps this up. Why would he go anywhere else?

Hope so  But the top 6 always get their way in the end. Could even see Barca or Real Madrid interested in him.

I remember reading that he’s supposed to be one of the best passers in the squad, hence the Phillips - backup experiment.

How do you think he measures up compared to White last year?

IMO in the long term I think we have the more all round player...not that I am not a fan of white's as well... but overall Struijk for me will be the better long term player

Nice to get our revenge on those two Davy, hope we can do the same to Wolves, West Ham & Brighton whom had a similar subdued effect on me.
