As did I ..He's still young, still learning a new position. Had no run in the team. Said it before he reminds me of Jimmy Floyd as a player

Clear bias here against the player with zero reasoning behind it. No idea why.

Redeemed themselves in the 2nd half but it was way too late.

Exactly, if he's loaned out, he's finished at Leeds.

Didn't watch second half after the 4th went in. Glad to hear we gave a better account of ourselves in the second half

But can we risk that?

Roberts has never shown enough quality or consistency.

We need a couple of cms already a creative one and someone to help KP/ Klich

If we do that then Roberrs drops further down the pecking order.

Or we dont and pray he finally comes good?

He was bright today tbf to him but its a once in a blue moon thing.

Better second half, but I think the consensus opinion around here pre-game was spot on.

Keeping the back four intact would have been better than moving Struijk forward and re-arranging everyone.

Don't think shacks or Roberts have been given enough time to say whether they're good enough or not

How many minutes has Paddy played ? That's the sort of chance Roberts should get before we make our minds up. I'M NOT SAYING SHACKLETON IS s**t WHICH IS THE FORUM STARTING POINT FOR TYLER, I'm saying he's not ready yet to play week in week out, I'm not saying get rid..... Huggins is further along imo.

Stop quoting meaningless stats..

We need better players. Roberts never looks scoring, time to move on from him.

But he had plenty of chances in the Championship and did nothing. Shackleton in comparison barely was given a chance and Dallas was played out of position in front of him.

We actually looked a more balanced outfit in the 2nd half as oppose to a totally disjointed side in the first 45 minutes due to far too many positional changes.

Shackleton is not a full-back (missed Ayling down the flank)
Ayling is not a CB.
Struijk is not a DM.
Alioski is not a LB.
Meslier needs to stop prating about.

Lets hope lessons have been learnt

Would have been good to see Gelhardt given a go at them.

Roberts did have the majority of our last 9 games end of last season.

Only managed 1 goal and 1 assist.

Shacks got 2 goals in the last 2 games.

Roberts did get a chance backend of last season and he didnt take it, thats a fact imo.

Poveda and Shacks both got the same 2 goal contributions Roberts managed in that game time playing far less minutes

Yes he was bright today but he has had chances and he hasnt taken them.

Others did (Poveda, Shacks etc).
Also he started against Fulham, Sheffield United and Man City and was completely anonymous in those games.

Fair play to Huggins.

No idea where he was playing but he did well imo.

Roberts looked our best player for me.

we never got hold of midfield which made it all but impossible for our (very poor) defence.

Bamford did little wrong but had nothing to work with.
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

Those are holes that have taken us from bottom half of the Championship to 11th in the PL.

Manchester is just down the road, City are great to watch, perhaps start watching them. Cretin
