Re: Kalvin Phillips
Great to say Kalvin playing in all 3 games. I thought playing 2 meant he'd be left out of the biggest game. Now it shows Southgate rates him and sees him as a key figure. I still think he sees Rice and Henderson as his first choices but KP is close and can change that by the end of the season. Would love to see him go on and make a name for himself at the Euros.
And I have no problem with the 3 games in 10 days. He did it all the time in the championship and 2 of those opponents were weaker than championship teams.

Re: Kalvin Phillips
Haematoma behind the knee for KP.
Dont like to be that guy but 2 things.
First, KP is quite injury prone.
Secondly, that could be a nasty injury (Raph has a haematoma and hasnt been seen for some time).
Potentially we may not see either of them again this season

Oh dear only good thing to come out of Raphinha & Phillips missing is how exposed we are as a squad without them.Cjay wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 7:12 pm Haematoma behind the knee for KP.

Re: Kalvin Phillips
KP has given hos loyalty to Leeds and I for one will be eternally grateful he stayed amd helped us to promotion.
But with at least £80m coming this summer we MUST strengthen our squad to diminish our reliance on Phillips.
That does not necessarily mean that we spend big on another DMF it means we restructure our midfield unit.
Replace Hernandez and Roberts. Farm out Poveda. The need for creative midfield play has never become more apparent as now.

Re: Kalvin Phillips
Our reliance on him is very concerning
We'd likely be facing a relegation battle if he left or was injured long term as the squad currently stands

Re: Kalvin Phillips
Kalvin's range of passing was superb yet again at Turf Moor.
My god we do miss Phillips when he is unavailable.
