Our passing at times is so sloppy and while that continues we will concede goals.

Fear for us vs Man City tbh because of that

Especially given how open we will be.

The good thing however is they're crap at corners too.

The cult of Ayling wont allow that to be said though  :)
We really need to move on from Ayling and Cooper, but they are Bielsa favourites so will start every game they can.

With that team selection, and that performance... I worry for us against Citeh.

Struijk/Koch has to come in for Cooper, who had his worst showing since the home leg of the playoffs against Derby. Klich in for Alioski, and maybe Pablo in for Roberts.
Spot on Ron.

Looked a bit ragged at the end. We gave a lot and didn’t get the return, mostly because of poor option taking when we were attacking and some dodgy passing with real goal chances available.

Amazed at the amount of play acting by Blunts players, feigning brain damage from minimum contact situations did give them a rest at crucial times but has to be seen as an abuse of something set in place for really serious injuries.

First time we had Koch, Llorente, Raphinha and Rodrigo on the pitch at the same time - Another positive!

Hopefully this is the game to blow off the international break cobwebs.

Ayling is sometimes poor at defending (especially at corners) but he gives so much overall for me.
Dallas is his only real rival at RB but doesn’t offer as much in attack

Glad we squeaked over the line. Have to think the lack of bite and intensity is not only due to the break but also a sense of job done for the season. I hope that is not going to linger into the next few tough games.

Really brave this from Roberts but how is this not a red?

Late, excessive force, players regularly get sent off for the follow through

And Ayling.
I didn't think either were that bad

We got worse after Paddy was subbed.

We probably will be but we did adapt vs Leicester and Chelsea, two teams who beat us comfortably.

We had less possession in both return games and took 4 points.

We should have beaten City last time we met, i have faith we can compete but we cant be so sloppy.

Probably.

Was shocked Cooper came in for Struijk, today was an opportunity to show continued faith in Struijk and build for the future.

Coops shouldn't be a starting player next season.

Rodrigo not up to the pace so far.

Ayling made a crucial block/interception at 2-1 in the last quarter.

Sheff Utd can only get 38 points now so we can't finish bottom...... :)

I disagree that we got worse when Paddy went off as we never reached any great heights. Paddy had a quiet game and bringing Rodrigo on was the right thing to do, even if he didn't do much when he did come on. We had to try something different to try get the third goal.

Second half was very sloppy. So many poor passes and possession conceded far to easily. I chalk it up to rust from the break and it's nice we were able to take three points despite playing so poorly.

Too many flicks and tricks to get the third, instead of nailing it with a killer pass.

I'd say that failing applies to our performance for most of the match by most of our players. If we'd kept things simpler we would have won easily.
