Left back, right back, left wing, defensive midfield, central midfield, striker...

Must be worth £100 million to us, irreplaceable right now!

I wonder what Stuart's value was pre-Bielsa?

Brilliant today, what composure he showed and great energy.

Was never a big fan, hated him at cm it jever looked right to me but he was awesome there today.

Id probably give him player of the year and i never thought id ever say that.

Really weird though because if most fans get their way and get the left back and centre mids we want then Dallas becomes a bench player.

Stuart Dallas vs Man City:

93% pass accuracy :star:
40 touches
26 succ. passes
8 ball recoveries (joint-most) :star:
3 duels won
2 clearances
2 shots on-target
2 goals :soccer: :soccer:
1/1 successful take-on

No player made more recoveries & scored both Leeds' shots on-target to seal a famous victory.

To be fair he wasn't half the player he is now pre-Bielsa mate

His fitness, endeavour & quality is there for all to see since Marcelo took him under his wing.

He was crap, lets not try and rewrite history.

He was a very poor winger.

He was out injured the first half of of the season, then he started building up his minutes off the bench. Then he had to find his feet in the system.

He was one of few who wanted it badly enough in the playoffs Both legs..

He was one of the few who turned up for that game but he had been here for a good few years already and was very very average.

Fully appreciate his improvement but lets not pretend he was rated by most fans beforehand, he wasnt and with good reason, he had been distinctly average in previous seasons.

Not disagreeing with you he is probably the most improved player under MB who saw something in him he didn't see in so many others.

Which is why say In Bielsa we Trust.

Have you not noticed that Bielsa rarely throws new signings straight into the team? Any signing would presumably have to bide their time. Also the beauty of the Bielsa small squad ideology means that Dallas with his versatility, even if he wasn't a first team starter in a guaranteed position, would likely start a lot of games as first choice back up in a few positions.

I have to admit, he's one of the ones I was worried about not being good enough for the PL. But wow, his transformation since the play-offs has been sensational. Still think he can go for 3/4 years too. Look at Milner for example.

I think probably similar to KP or Cooper and possibly Ayling too if we'd have had offers of £250k for any of them the fans would have been happy to see them sold. I doubt Heckingbottom was looking to build a team around them.
