Christian Eriksen
Prayers for him.
Collapsed on the pitch.
Quite clearly they were trying to resuscitate him.
Just awful.

Re: Christian Eriksen
Photos on social media appear to show him awake leaving the pitch.
Bein sports also reporting he is conscious and stable.

Re: Christian Eriksen
Wont get mentioned enough but Anthony Taylor was a hero today.
He stopped the match and ushered on medical assistance within 10 seconds.
A hero today Mr Taylor.

Absolutely awful to watch, had to turn it off, can't beleive they carried on broadcasting!
So glad he is ok! Massive respect to Simon Kjaer who was first to him and the medical teams who revived him.

Re: Christian Eriksen
He deserves a standing ovation next time he refs.
Kasper Schmeichel to and Simon Kjær.
Plus those two medical people who sprinted on so fast.

Re: Christian Eriksen
Big emotions today. Haven't seen anything like that on a football pitch and not since the Ayrton Senna crash. I thought we had lost a fantastic football player. Great to see he is recovering. Kudos to Denmark for playing on but I think it was the wrong decision. Match should have been abandoned as a draw. Clearly, the players were overawed. Can't blame Schmeichel for the mistake. His eyes were all puffed up..
Get well Eriksen. Long shot but I hope he plays again and we get to see a few more if those free kicks.

Re: Christian Eriksen
Eriksen spoke to his teammates via facetime and asked them to play the game.

Similar feelings watching Grosjean's car burst into flames at Bahrain, though that was over in seconds.
Re: Christian Eriksen
Thought this was class from both sets of fans.
Also the Finland fans who gave their flags to the Danish players in order to help cover Eriksen.

The reasons could be complex and varied and that journey of finding out the cause could be a long one for Eriksen.
Probably best not to speculate, especially if there is no information to suggest he’s even had a jab.
