Re: Scum/Manure Thread
Manure had a £67m bid for England winger Jadon Sancho turned down by Borussia Dortmund.
The German club want about £77.5m for the 21-year-old, with an additional £4.25m bonus payment on top.
The £12m they lost for attempting & pretending to be a ESL club would have been handy now

On the evidence of what I've seen from him for England I'll be pleased if the dirty Scummers pay a fortune for him

Re: Scum/Manure Thread
Look like they have finally got their man.
£73million for Jadon Sancho.
Phenomenal record in Germany but so did Werner and Havertz.
Is he 4 times as good as Raph? Unlikely
Will he score 24 goals and 36 assists next season? Nope
Shows what great value Raph is.

So they got Sancho for nearly £5m less than the original asking price.
Still an awful lot of dosh if he doesn't produce the goods.

Re: Scum/Manure Thread
Manure are making progress on deals for Raphael Varane and Eduardo Camavinga.
Looking at around £60-70mil the pair on top of the £70mil for Sancho (but remember Glazers bad, dont spend blah blah).
They will have some team next season if this goes through tbf.
Fortunately they have a sub standard manager and a weak mentality and runners up will always be the limit.

Re: Scum/Manure Thread
It is only the other team in Manchester that spends money and it is dirty oil money don't you know. They already have a pretty good team in terms of what has been spent on them despite what the fans and media make out and a starting line-up costing more than their city rivals. 2nd place wasn't overachieving.Cjay wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 11:40 am Manure are making progress on deals for Raphael Varane and Eduardo Camavinga.

Manure/Scum Thread - their fans concerned.
They have confirmed the deal to sign Sancho.
Also it is becoming increasingly unlikely Paul Pogba will sign a new deal and so they will need to sell him this summer or risk him leaving for free next summer.

Re: Scum/Manure Thread
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has signed a new deal until 2024.
What wonderful news.
They will win matches just because they have spent a ton on players and talent.
Fortunately Ole lacks the talent to make the final jump to winning trophies.

Great news
Shame Chelsea didn't keep hold of Lampard
Re: Scum/Manure Thread
With the amount of money Manure have spent they should be at least competitive in the PL & winning cups.
They got nowhere near Citeh & won nowt.
OSG lacks the quality edge of a top class coach such as Pep, Tuchel & our very own Marcelo.

Re: Scum/Manure Thread
Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane is near to joining Manchester United for an initial fee of around £34m.
Final details are still to be agreed - but Varane, 28, had told Real he had no wish to extend his current contract, which has a year to run.
The deal for Varane is likely to reach £42m with add-ons.
It is set to follow Jadon Sancho's move to Old Trafford from Borussia Dortmund for £73m, which was confirmed last Friday.
