Shame Alioski didn't stay as our squad is wafer-thin especially with left-backs Huggins & Davis gone whom probably weren't good enough tbh. As you say Ali actually made an impact off the bench contrary to our PL subs now.

I genuinely wonder how much of an injury crisis it would take to get any of the u23s in the team?


I actually am not overly fussed about the u23s, if he doesnt rate them then he doesnt rate them.

But still baffles me sometimes how 1 injury can make Bielsa move 3 or 4 players around rather than using someone other than his preferred 13 or 14 players.

Its astounding when most managers loathe to make unnecessary changes if they can do a like for like change whereas MB is the total opposite and will perform positional musical chairs rather than trust someone outside of his 13 14 faves.

McCarron who we signed as a winger from Carlisle is now playing LB, he has impressed me in that role to be fair.

Personally I'd happily start Roberts over Rodrigo atm, never let us down, is creative, hard working, good tackler and better in the air than Paddy

Rodrigo works best as a false 9, or 10 playing off a 9. We don't play 2 up front much if ever so our choices are somewhat limited for him while Bamford holds the 9 spot

27-29M for Rodrigo who is a top class player, what's to say if we added a 30M AMF he'd start?
