Re: Burnley v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Klich and Firpo unavailable
Was in Scarborough watching the game. No network.. I must say we are in deep s**t this season when what is coming off the bench is Shackleton ahead of Roberts and the mighty Costa to come. We are in deep s**t and a relegation fight ahead. Sorry to say but we are still 4 players short quality players short of progressing. We were piss poor and bambi is not the answer up front 1 goal in 3 games is appalling. We will be going backwards this season and a battering against Liverpool after the international break 2 pointsfrom 4 games is piss poor form and it doesn't look like we can progress. Absolutely if we don't get anyone in we re going down that's my prediction for this season. We are not good enough a championship side

I've always done that, not just this season, always looking over our shoulder until we reach 40 points.Orange Box wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 3:17 pm The main concern here is that we’re already looking at other teams and hoping they lose more than we do.![]()

Did Wood touch it Swannie? He wheeled away as if he did but every angle I've seen if he does it is the most miniscule touch ever

Of course, this is true.
I was thinking about where we can pick up points, bottom half teams like Burnley would seem more likely than top half teams.
Like the way we dug out a draw though.

Rodders had another poor game, actually starting to feel sorry for him.
It's blatantly obvious the system and role doesn't suit him.
Still wonder how he appeared on our list of targets.

He did Cjay. The ball was on it's way and Meslier had it covered, but with the slightest of toe nail touches, Wood sent it the opposite way to where Meslier was heading

Wolves get Hwang Hee Chan on a season long loan? But there are no decent players available supposedly?

I think Radz just wanted a Hollywood signing to show off tbh. Bielsa couldn't say no as he was better than what we have.Cjay wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 3:26 pm Rodders had another poor game, actually starting to feel sorry for him.

The only blessing in disguise from this game Swannie
Horrible watch, boring, littered with mistakes & I didn't enjoy the game one bit (apart from Paddy's goal

Ayling and Dallas have been really poor so far this season. I think they have reached their max. But the club don't want to replace them.

Both of them are 30 years old now, they have really benefited from the coaching and the system but limits exist.
They have both played lower league for their entire careers for a reason.
Great servants but can't go on forever playing above your natural abilities
Ayling in particular imo is really struggling
