Yeah, they're still in a mess mate. I guess they already have a new coach lined up, but it could take a while to sort that lot out.

Fully expect Norwich and Watford will drop and Ranieri might even be sacked by Christmas.

We need to get some points on the board quickly. Wolves will be tough as they're on a roll. If we don't beat Norwich it's gonna be a real battle to survive.

Given some Newcastle fans were dreaming of Zidane and Conte that is a bit of a come down.

Did ok in Portugal, mixed results, say a 6/10.

Did very well in Ukraine tbf, won titles and stuff.

But in Italy with Roma? Meh Semis of Europa league with 5th and 7th place finishes.

But in the last 10 seasons for Roma Fonseca's last was Roma's joint 2nd lowest points total and his 1st was only 4 more than Ranieri and Di Francesco managed and that was considered a poor season hence both were sacked.

Not the top class appointment i imagine the Geordies hoped for but he isnt Steve Bruce so it will be amazing to them i guess.

Don't think there was any risk of them going down. They were awful last season, before Christmas every team was trashing them home and away. And yet they still finished in mid table miles ahead of the bottom 3.

For a football person who are generally not that bright that must be a terrifying prospect, one wrong quote could ruin your entire career.

They've been watching performances like our lot put in at Southampton every week under Bruce for two years now, so you can imagine their relief to be shot of him
