Absolutely right Scooby but from a defencive pov he's made us a bit tighter which is what is required . We were shipping too many goals . He's not the answer long term but for now he's doing a decent job much like most of the team but we all know that to move forward we need better quality throughout the team.

Best team performance of the season. As everyone has said, if we had a goal scorer we had three points and an improved GD.

Harrison has to be rested, he is trying very hard but it’s not working at all. If he had just let the ball hit off him for the back post sitter of an opportunity it was in. Clearing it with his knee was a much harder thing to do - it just sums up where he’s at. A break and some recovery time from whatever is ailing him should revive his season.

James can’t score either and that is really beginning to reduce our chances. Incredible luck for Leicester that Bamford and Gelhardt should be missing today. It was made for either one of them

Top marks to the teams’ work rate, Forshaw, Dallas, Philips for his improvement, Rodrigo for his effort throughout and to the support for another great atmosphere today. It drives this team in a big way.

Jack ought to cover his face in shame, so many missed opportunities. As I've said, he has been sussed out by PL defenders

But he is the future, now he's had a couple of half-decent games, he will be a regular, giving KP a bit more free space.
He's a Bielsa type player, dosen't create or score, just like roberts, harrison & james, he has a great future at ER, also saving AR some dosh.

Today, Forshaw was far more efficient than Harrison & James, Adam did his job, Jack & Dan screwed up.

If he's the future we may as well pack up now , the next few months maybe but no more than a splinter after that.

I always thought he was a calming influence in the first season under Bielsa. Whether he can do that in the prem who knows, but after Raphinia the next best today for me.
He was i agree.

Just urging caution.

Someone elsewhere described him perfectly.

Forshaw may turn defeats into draws occasionally, he will never turn defeats into wins.

My attempt to be sarcastic BG, does scare me though when AR said he was like a new signing, meaning, he's going nowhere soon.

I see Image. What scares me more is when he pops up in or around the opposition penalty area but I'm guessing he bricks it as well !

If you mean us then Wilson, Willock, Saint max, almiron.

If you mean you Raph, Harrison, Dallas, Bamford, Rodrigo, James?

How many games has you're striker that scored 17 last season played, you take goals out of any team and they will struggle, my Scottish team is Hearts we won 5-2 this weekend during the game some of the goals we scored went for us, other times it doesn't 40 seconds in the player we have on loan from Liverpool elbowed the opponent which could of been classed as endangering an opponent, resulting in a sending off no booking, then our second goal that was scored by a player on loan from Brighton in the lead up it hit one of my teams players hands and bounced perfectly in front of him, 20 seconds later we scored from it, in the 79th minute of the game our defender John Souttar had his eyes on the ball headed it but at the same time elbowed a player in the face and he had sparked the opponent clean out.

I thought at the time he will be lucky to escape a booking here, and most refs would of probably seen it as endangering an opponent and sent him off.

My point football is small margins sometimes it goes for you others it doesn't, West ham won against Liverpool today, you played them at home with multiple of players out with injury, yet from the game i watched you more than matched west ham and were the better team had more possession, and that was with key players out, now Antonio could've been sent off that game for elbowing Meslier and Cooper.

You played against the foxes today you more than matched them and were by far the better team.

So sorry as a Newcastle fan we're do you get that you will be relegated? What evidence do you have to show me that you are playing poorly and not creating chances are teams out playing you? Because I've played the game at, I would call a decent level, and in my opinion there is only one team that wanted to win that today, Leicester were happy with a point.

Please listen to me I've seen my club relegated more than once, and you're club isn't even close to being that bad.

Recruitment is very much needed, but you will stay up i would bet my house on that.

If there is anyone that knows what it takes to be relegated, and what it takes to stay up then it's me.

You control games, you play good football once you have a full team back and fit then is the time to judge, you're club needs you to stick with them, which I'm very sure you all will.

You're very lucky to have Marcelo.

What he achieved last season was nothing sort of a miracle 9th place finish with a team that is ranked to have the second lowest wage budget in the league.

Today was like watching Leeds of old, passion, desire, work rate was phenomenal.

You play like that 9/10 most games and you Pick up the 3 points.

Anyway give them a chance and I'm sure when Patrick is back you will be happy.

I would say there's only one united and it's Nufc 😉 but you guys are great to watch, we will both stay up trust me 👍.

Excellent post Bongo

It's just so frustrating our forwards can't shoot & score goals apart from Raphinha & Bamford

Harrison - 9 appearances, 0 goals, 0 assists

James - 8 appearances, 0 goals, 1 assist

Roberts - 10 appearances, 0 goals, 2 assists

Rodrigo - 10 appearances, 2 goals, 4 assists - Rods goals (a penalty & the other the goalie should have saved)
