Problem is that we had an easy end to the fixtures both cycles last year. This year it's the opposite...after Brentford, it's Chelsea, city, arsenal and Liverpool!

and remember we had a similar sequence near the end of last season and we came away with an unexpexted series of results and a victory over MC due to a brace from Dallas

And... we could have had at least two games where a couple of clear penalties not given by VAR, would have likely put the game beyond doubt and 3 points in each.

I feel much more relaxed today given we are not far off where we were last year, better defensively too. I think we will click soon and start scoring and this rough patch will be all but a memory.

Aye, I saw that and glad you did post it.

Definitely feeling positive about everything today because of several things:

Three Points.
Decent performance from everyone with lots of energy and pressing.
Defensively better than last year.
KP putting the nonsense to bed about a rift between him and MB.
Injury list seemingly shortening.
Best fans in the league bar none.

Just feels we're one step away from getting it right, and that being finding the onion bag, which I am confident will come with a settled team and a bit of confidence. Throw in some lady luck with results going our way and we could find ourselves with some breathing room come the end of the weekend.

We should have around 5 points more than we do if all was fair, and the confidence would be higher. We can get results from that run of 4.. 3 away, and then we get them out of the way going into January
