Oh, bend over and take your spanking now :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

City were superb , we weren't.

I think they would have beaten anybody on that form.

I really think Bielsa has come to the end of his tenure.

His selections defy belief.

Cresswell should have started at CB with Ayling at RB.

Sumerville is our second best winger but gets no time,

Gelhardt should have started up front with perhaps Roberts in midfield.

The main problem is we have bugger all in midfield, especially with Kalvin injured.

I personally like Foreshaw but he can't control the midfield on his own

We all know we should have strengthened in midfield in the summer

This is what is needed in January

I think we will avoid relegation by the skin of our teeth, but something drastic needs to change in summer

Sorry to say it but I think Biels has to go at the end of the season

Rab - It wasn’t the RB tracking Foden it was Llorente - I highlighted that hole at half time. Man to man is great if the players match up. They just pulled us all over the place and exploited the numerous spaces left. But that is what class intelligent players can do to our system. Unfortunately This City side has 8 or 9 outfield players with that ability. Arsenal is still a winnable game but right now we have no capacity to change the team unless we fill the team with kids. Chastening defeat but calling for Marcelo’s head is madness.

Cjay wrote: Tue Dec 14, 2021 10:18 pm Main concern is what will this do to the confidence the players?

This could go two ways

Either they react well and this galvanised the squad and we put some wins together

Or they could collapse, lose faith in Bielsa and his methods and we are then in real trouble .

It would be naive to suggest that isn't possible because it has happened to many managers before and he isn't immune.

You have to wonder what was going through their heads, they must have known it wasn't working as players and yet no other instruction came?
These feeble bottlers will only go one way.

Managers who have achieved far more have been sacked Wenger, Jose, Ranieri, Conte, just saying.

Very bad result tonight but we knew we would get beat. Put Creswell in there and it could have destroyed the poor lad.
Lads heads never went down going forward so should be ok against Arsenal

Cliff wrote:The loyal Leeds fans still singing & supporting Leeds in the ground at City tonight are an absolute credit to the club - the miserable, negative, spineless bunch of whingers on here are an absolute embarrassment & they should be ashamed to be Leeds fans. You guys seem to thrive on the negatives. Have you already forgotten our heroics against another billion pound club Chelsea at the weekend? Our injury ravaged squad? Our mercurial manager Bielsa & what he has done for us? Many, even most, on here should be ashamed of yourselves - that's from a self confessed happy clappy - we've not had things this good for 20 years, so enjoy it whilst you can. Miserable tw@ts
Are you f**king blind ?! Every week the lads are being hung out to dry by using the same tactics that disappeared with the arc. Yes it's the same f**king bloke who got us promoted but now it seems he hasn't got a f**king clue but hey... he's a top coach so let him carry on regardless...where's the f**king sense in that !?

WhiteRose wrote: Tue Dec 14, 2021 9:39 pm We have helped them do it but there isn’t much most teams could do against city when they are in this kind of mood. Scary it’s not even 80 minutes yet
If you commit as many errors in the first 15 minutes as we did, any great team will tear you apart. We handed them the game on a plate from the onset, from then our heads went down & we looked totally clueless

Other teams go to the Etihad, keep it tight & make it hard for them, not the case tonight, it was a walk in the park for the Citeh lads.

Yes the problem with Bielsa is that he doesn't seem capable of adapting

A win next week and this will soon be forgotten. James playing the 9 role really needs to change though to have a chance.
