At the end of the day it,s a football match yes we ha ve injuries covid is a different thing. As a youngster i really looked forward to the games over christmas.A lot of youngster,s will be disappointed as a trip to the game would have been their christmas treat.1964white wrote: ↑Thu Dec 23, 2021 3:19 pm What? getting battered enjoyable as we haven't got enough players fit to be competitive.
This is a welcome relief for our depleted squad.
We need the likes of Bamford, Llorente, Cooper, Struijk, James, Firpo, Rodrigo, Cresswell, etc back in the match day squad a.s.a.p to give us half a chance of winning football matches. Unfortunately, Kalvin won't be fit until at least mid-February, a massive miss!
It's a distinct possibility our next league game maybe West Ham on 16th January '22 which hopefully will help our cause & also give the likes of Dallas, Klich, Harrison time to freshen up after a break.

Actually happy about this news. We really need some players back from injury and/or recovering from small knocks. Some quality time with their families will also allow them to freshen up for the battle from the drop.

What a lot of people might not have realised if we end up with a few games cancelled we could end up with having a fixture backlog which could hit us really hard as well.
