Dark ales like March of the Penguines, plum porter, dark stout, and of course the gorgeous Kastille.

Big fan of the stouts. I had one the other day from Smiddle summit lane, 10% taste was distinct but ok. I can't get enough of Mcewans Champion. Full flavour rich in taste and alcohol. 3 and i'm at comfort blanket stage and i am not getting up for a piss 3 times in the night.

I love the real ales, but not pale stuff, having said that, erdinger or blue moon wheat beers are excellent, also Leffe brune although Leffe blonde is ok, again , all strong tackle.

The Leffe Ruby is the nicest one, MC - but you don’t see it in many places.

Ordered a case of 6 from Amazon for Xmas 🍻

I'm not having a beer tonight, I've got a bottle of Jack Daniels waiting for me.

I was in Whitby last weekend and spent a great few hours imbibing at the Whitby Brewery opposite the Abbey, some good beers and if you like a tasty 6.5% brew then the Black Death is worth a try :beers:
