Where is Berwick's ground, liggy? Is it outside the town?

We've visited Berwick a few times. I can't recall seeing the ground.

I have a friend up in Spittal who's been flying great distance birds for years
Last time I was their I drove past it. so its south of the tweed nearer to Spittal
They've also had a speedway team up their for yonks

I think been allowed to play in the Scottish League was the only option for the clubs survival in reality. Imagine them having to travel to the likes Plymouth, Exeter and Gillingham every other week.

Accies and the Jam Tarts for me.
Somebody I worked with in the 70's hubby supported Hearts and I just loved their full name Heart of Midlothian and their nickname jam tarts.

In the eighties working abroad one of my dentist friends supported Hamilton Academical. He used to shout out in the dental surgery "Come on you Accies"
Around the same time Celtic came out to the middle east. Our dental head of department as well as being a dentist was a singer very well known in Scotland. He invited a few of the Celtic team to look round our dental department and I have to say, Billy McNeil was rather scathing about Leeds United....a bit cocky about it as well.

WOW WOW WOW! I am so impressed. In fact, seriously my heart just skipped a beat when I read that. How on earth did you come up with Alasdair faaip? He was my head of department, I got on with him really well. I was his senior dental surgery assistant.

I'm truly stunned. We worked together for 12 years. He recorded an album 'Amongst my Souvenirs' whilst on leave in Scotland. I remember him driving me to one of our groups hospitals, across the desert so we could see if everything was OK with our staff. He played the demo of his album, singing along to it all the way there and back.....60 Km each way. He asked me what I thought, what changes needed if necessary. It was a brilliant time in my life.

When the album came out he gave me my very own CD....he'd signed my name, and the words numero uno, Alasdair x

Feeling quite emotional now recalling all that......
