The point I was making was about perception.

It seems that any transfer WE make are described as panic buys while it looks like everyone else is supposedly doing great business.

£10m for O'Brien would be a panic buy, he is no better than what we have already. £25m for James was a panic buy, as he was nowhere near that price.

I don't think throwing money at anyone constitutes a good signing, see my comments on James, my point is we're not looking hard enough or utilising the market well enough.

All we hear is how great Radz and Orta's contacts are, yet all we sign are top 6 rejects and players from La Liga on big wages. Orta did the same at Boro too.

Dawned on me we actually have two men child's in charge, both Radz and Orta are prone to tantrums and lashing out but some of our fans think Orta having a tantrum shows pashun so thats ok

Would disagree he has been good value.

Only managed 68 games in 4 years costing us £4.5mil.

Made no contribution to our promotion season or our 9th placed finish.

Furthermore he signed a new Premier league contract when Boro were promoted so his wages will have been significant for us when we signed him.

He has probably cost us not to far of 100k a game.

Credit to him for doing OK this season and getting back to fitness but that's all imo.

I can guarentee not one other Premier League clubs policy on whether they sign a 27 year old 10 year veteren footballer will be decided on whether they loan out a 20 year old winger who doesnt want to be at the club and who has played less than 2 matches worth of league football at the club since signing 2 years ago.

The best value for money is France and the Netherlands. I can't believe we got Raph on the cheap and never went back there.

The Aaronson thing seemed like something to placate the fans.

Salzburg have been adamant all window he wouldn't leave.

Rumours of huge issues at boardroom level linked to funding this window ( we didn't have any and 1 Radz can't afford to fund it and has never been one for funding the club without selling bits of it off to the other owner who would only invest if he did just that).

And I also think that Bielsa time here is coming to a natural end (tin hat on).

Very disappointing and risky window, if it goes wrong and it could the entire Bielsa era will amount to nothing and we end up back in the Championship
