He seems to be edging closer.
It's a huge risk imo for a variety of reasons mentioned earlier.

The worst thing is all those annoying MLS fans on Twitter will start acting like they're experts on us all of a sudden

Actually I think he'd be more likely to give the young players a chance.Carrick Dave wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 9:44 pm Yeah, just wait til the first time he brings Roberts on ahead of Joffy.![]()

Re: Jesse Marsch- RUMOUR
Only thing he has going for him far as I can see.
His style is very questionable as is his track record.
But he made his name at RB Salzburg who are famous for signing young gems and selling them on (Radz wet dream),so he is more likely to be willing to pave this mythical pathway ( and not conplain when Radz flogs them).
Only slight problem is RB Salzburg had an awesome scouting and recruitment team who were excellent at signing these gems before anyone else. . .
We have Orta and Kinnear

Our U23s team is in a relegation dogfight as well. They've taken some fearful batterings this season.

He will need to lose the tie...

Marsch OUT
Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.
Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

If he's the one it makes it a little more likely Aaronson will be here.

No If's or buts, we are down, unless we get some decent refs
It's what the PL and EFL want, the EFL need their cash cow back,

Re: Jesse Marsch- RUMOUR
We will 100% go down as these players won't have a scooby how to adjust from Bertball to Yankball.....What! in 12 games!!!....
THE VERDICT: HUGE GAMBLE
Marsch now looks set to be the man to come in and take over with 12 games remaining, a call which seems to be a huge gamble by the board.
Bielsa’s side have been leaking goals this month, but you could argue this is his first woeful spell as Leeds boss and he has earned the chance to turn things around.
He has also been without three key players in recent months in Liam Cooper, Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford, and if Marsch fails to lead the club to safety, you’d expect that the board would get the brunt of criticism from Leeds supporters after their apparent U-turn on Bielsa’s tenure.

Marsch plays a pressing style too, he just doesn't do the silly man on man marking.Kennyb41 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 9:10 am We will 100% go down as these players won't have a scooby how to adjust from Bertball to Yankball.....What! in 12 games!!!....
