A middle aged and overweight Mark Viduka would improve our attacking play.

I was worried that Marsch's comments when he took over were overly deferential about Bielsa ( " a club legend etc ") and picking Ayling as a CB makes me wonder whether he thinks that his job is to provide some kind of continuity. If so he is adopting Bielsa's worst failings as a manager.

A break with Bielsa would have been to have brought in Creswell as a CB and to stop playing players out of position.

Gelhardt coming on it seems.

Why is Marsch making the same mistakes Bielsa was making?

Joffy coming on.
Marsch OUT

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

Feels like some sort of money laundering scheme.
When you think that Liverpool paid around 35 mil for Salah that really puts it into perspective.

Some on here though still think James, Rodrigo and Harrison are good quality PL players. Unbelievable.

Well, if there's a performance that says relegation it's this one. Very nervy, no cutting edge, absolutely no quality. Mes kept us in it but even now I think the games up.

We need a focal point so Joffy coming on and hopefully James or Harrison coming off may give us options.

Then Paddy can replace Rod 15 minutes in.

Struijk needs pulled too.

The crowd will be applying that old Luke Varney song before long swapping him out for Rodrigo and Coutinho. Poor error strewn first half with no shots on target again i think? Mark Viduka... Mark Viduka come on Leeds give him a song what's wrong with you? We could certainly do with him on the pitch although running will be out of the option now. :P

The problem is playing with condensed width is we don't have anybody to show for the ball when we are playing out and we certainly don't have a quality player like Coutinho and even Mcginn is head and shoulders above what we have in the middle. James woeful, Harrison forget it, Rodrigo Luke Vardy, Raph looks like he doesn't want to be here any more, Koch is playing like one, Pascal needs the other 2 musketeers to help him he's all over the gaffe. The only plus is we seem to be defending corners with purpose. Ayling good in attack, Dallas trying his best. Its still not the right set-up for me. I would throw Cresswell in at CB move ayling across and push Dallas up, dallas is fast becoming the only intelligent football we have...

In saying all that we will still win this 3-2.......BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Mark Viduka, Mark Viduka. Even David O leary is back in the room.
