Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v Leeds Utd Match Thread
Lot of whispers on other forums and social media that Raph has covid.
Also no sightings of Bamford, Raphinha or Rodrigo in the training videos.

Cannot see Bamford AND Gelhardt both starting as Paddy is not 100% fit.
Leeds need to bring in a midfielder who can score goals and a decent number 9 in Jan 2027.

It is possible that the training videos are set up to give an impression ie lots of Cooper and KP, gives the impression they are fit. No Paddy, Raph or Rod keeps everyone guessing....possibly including the opposition.

Quite agree, ...I just meant the idea of playing them seemed a bit risky given they've been out for months and no time in the 23's.whiteswan wrote: Possibly a massive boost to the players seeing Coops and Kalvin on the bench BG

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v Leeds Utd Match Thread
Wolves have done well this season. Not flamboyant but know how to win.
I think we owe them after having only one point to show for three tight games against them since promotion.
A deflected winner and one that bounced off Meslier to give them six points last season and then another flukey deflection in the box gave them their goal this season.
Gelhardt and Rodrigo will have happy memories of the game earlier this season so lets get an early goal.
Then let the time wasting begin

Marsch OUT
Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.
Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

I'm not the superstitious type usually, but I've decided I'm not going to watch the game today, since we seem to do better when I don't and boy do we need results right now Not sure my heart can do with the workout again either. I don't get this kind of stress when I attend live games, it's always when it is on TV (which sadly nowadays all my Leeds games are living where I do).

I know what you mean. I've thought long and hard about not watching the game tonight. It can't be good for the ticker and no matter how much I try to stay calm I always end up screaming at the TV. There seems to be more & more health scares in the crowds nowadays and I don't want to go down that route. Having said all that I'll probably still end up watching tonight so fingers crossedLumiukko wrote:I'm not the superstitious type usually, but I've decided I'm not going to watch the game today, since we seem to do better when I don't and boy do we need results right now Not sure my heart can do with the workout again either. Glad I'm not the only one who struggles to watch the games. Not such a problem last season as we never looked in danger of relegation, but the promotion season near the ned, I felt the same way about us falling at the last hurdle.
